The Cowboy’s City Girl by Emerson Rose
About The Cowboy’s City Girl by Emerson Rose
Ridge
After being falsely accused of a serious crime by an egocentric and vain city girl, I swore never to be involved with another one again.
The high profile lawsuit of the world’s favorite pop star princess vs. her monstrous body guard ruined me financially and publicly.
Nobody wants to hire an accused criminal to be their bodyguard, even if he was found not guilty of all charges.
I have not wavered from that decision for five years while living in Montana working as a personal assistant and head of security for
billionaire rancher Ash Pride.
The past few years have been the best of my life. Secluding myself from the public and the media on Ash’s ranch was my saving grace…
until a beautiful, sassy photojournalist showed up on Ash’s doorstep.
Allison Green’s curves, her sass, and her smile are making me rethink my “no city girl” rule for the first time in five years.
Can I risk being thrust back into the public eye?
Can I trust someone whose profession once ruined me?
Can this cowboy fall for a city girl?

The Fire and the Forge by Jack Geurts
About The Fire and the Forge by Jack Geurts
In a world where gods pull the strings of mortals and people wield the power of the elements, the nation of Libera is attacked by its age-old enemy, the Kem, who lay waste to the land and its armies with their demonic powers of fire and steel.
Imharak, a blacksmith’s apprentice, is forced to leave his hometown when it is raided and burned to the ground. Together with his master, Gaius, he flees into the wilderness, heading for Gaius’ brother, who is caught near a city that has just been conquered by the Kem.
What troubles Imharak is not so much the invasion, but the fact that he shares the same powers as the invaders, leading him to question where he came from.
He never knew his parents – he was raised as a Liberite and destined to be a common blacksmith. His powers had always made him an outcast, and now he starts to think he might have more in common with the conquerors than with the conquered.
Soon, Imharak will find his allegiances torn between both sides. As he and Gaius journey closer to the lion’s den, Imharak will discover who he really is and what he is capable of.
A bloody, harrowing adventure that takes its cues from ancient civilisations and mythologies, The Fire and The Forge is like no fantasy you’ve ever read.
While a lot of epic fantasy is set in a world resembling medieval Europe, The Fire and The Forge is influenced by ancient Mediterranean civilisations like Egypt, Israel, Carthage and Rome. It owes more to the world of the Old Testament and Mt. Olympus than the world of knights, wizards and castles.
You’ll find no elves, dwarves or goblins here. No dark lords, dragon-slayers or prophecies. You’ll find no good or evil, but only a grey sense of morality as people are forced to make life-or-death decisions in a harsh and brutal world.
From the very first sentence, this intimate, character-driven tale will dig its hooks into you and haul you along to the bitter end.

She published A Softer Side of Me, a book of 10 poems focusing on her “normal” but inspirational life, including her husband, children and career. It spent time as #1 in the poetry genre on Amazon.
But much like her character, there’s another side to Monica L. Smith, who has realized that she has a passion for urban erotic fiction. She enjoys writing what she calls “no-no” sensual sex scenes and while she does explore the dark side, she also firmly believes in writing about finding love, and hopes to inspire women to find their balance between sexuality and true love.
She claims she may not actually do what she writes about, but she feels a connection to it and enjoys the thrill that drives her to see her stories through to their exciting climax and conclusion.

Kimberly Diede’s first novel, Whispering Pines, was inspired by her real-life “Aunt Celia”, Mary K. Nierling. Aunt Mary was a generous, extraordinary, slightly formidable woman who excelled in a “man’s world” in the mid-1900s.
An avid, life-long reader, Kimberly would occasionally read until the sun rose, before adult responsibilities made the habit unsustainable. Her love of reading has evolved into an unexpected love of writing as a creative outlet from the demands of thirty years in corporate America. She is currently at work on her second novel in her Celia’s Gifts series.
