Nancy Saltzman is an Indiana Hoosier who now calls Colorado her home. She is found most mornings hiking in the foothills with her two dogs, Nacho and Macy. Saltzman retired after 32 years in public education and now enjoys reading, taking pictures, having lunch with friends, and laughing. Dr. Saltzman holds a Ph.D. in education, was recognized as Colorado’s National Distinguished Principal and was awarded the Cancer Society’s Sword of Hope during her career as an elementary school principal. I am Canadian, born and raised. I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree from MacEwan University, for which I am still trying to find a practical application for. My niche in this world still eludes me. I have bounced from half-baked ideas of becoming a forensic pathologist (cut short when the option for attending an autopsy came up and I rather quickly decided maybe that wasn’t for me), a member of a rock band (sadly, none of us could play instruments or sing, not that it’s a requirement these days…) and many more.
This Would Be Paradise is my first completed book, which has started a chain reaction of one-too-many book ideas dancing around in my head. I plan on wrangling in these ideas and making full fledged books from them. So keep an eye out on the horizon for more works to come!

Marsy Beron was born in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, Eastern Europe. She graduated from the University of Sofia, major in Bulgarian Philology, and worked as a teacher for a couple of years. However, she felt that teaching was not her vocation, so she moved to journalism. Marsy wrote for various newspapers and magazines for over 25 years, and in 2007, created her own journalistic website. Her focus has always been mostly on political and social issues. Her work allowed her to get intimately familiar with the “kitchen” of politics, as well as with the problems of orphanages, crisis centers for victims of domestic violence, homes for elderly and sick people.
In her career as a journalist, Marsy accumulated a wealth of knowledge about local affairs, geo-political issues and society as a whole. She realized that situations and people were rarely what they seemed – there have always been hidden mechanisms and agendas that have governed the lives of individuals and society in general. Her desire to understand the inner workings of society gradually led her to psychology. Marsy attended a series of seminars and courses on family constellations, psychodrama and NLP, thus discovering the Gestalt Psychotherapy as a modality, which she found amazing.
Marsy Beron decided to follow her passion and change professions when her elder daughter was already a student at the university, despite the opinions of friends and relatives who openly expressed their doubts with relation to the usefulness and rationality of her intentions. She began her studies for a Gestalt psychotherapist at the National Institute of Gestalt Psychotherapy in Bulgaria, enrolling at the same time in the new course of the University of Sofia – “Philosophy of Mind and Language”.
Marsy shares that she feels much more satisfied with her new profession of a Gestalt Psychotherapist. As to writing, she has never really stopped exercising it. And now she is determined more than ever to implement her ideas for psychological and science fiction novels which have been maturing for years. Recently, she published a collection of satirical essays on political subjects. A book of poems, written in her youth, is also forthcoming.
Marsy Beron still lives in Sofia, Bulgaria. She is the mother of two grown-up daughters. She likes writing, reading, swimming, singing, travelling and photography.

I’ve been writing since the second grade when my teacher called my parents in for a conference because the ghost story I’d written had her a little concerned. By the time I was fourteen years old I was reading every Stephen King book I could find in the public library. I was hooked – I knew I had to be a writer.
