Bart Hopkins is originally from Galveston, Texas, but has lived in Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Korea, and Germany. He was born in the middle of the 1970s.
Bart has served in the US Air Force as a meteorologist for 20 years and has degrees in Liberal Arts and Education. He likes to travel, enjoys pretending he’s a photographer, and shares as much time as possible with his beautiful wife and three awesome children. There are ghosts and demons that wander among the living; they do not haunt in the traditional sense. Instead, they plague the living with diseases and physical deformities, and once a ghost finds its victim it will haunt them for a lifetime.
A mild illness brings on the dreams, which trigger the suppressed memories, which in turn allows George to see ghosts. Along with this new sight into a realm unknown to most, George instinctually knows that he must kill the ghosts. Of course none of this makes sense, but he cannot control the urge to kill when he encounters them, because deep inside, he knows this is what he must do. Another thing he knows; if he kills a ghost, a person nearby is suddenly healed.
His acceptance of this newfound ability to see and kill ghosts becomes his obsession, but it is also destroying his life and threatening his sanity. George seeks the help of Phil, a known paranormal expert, who briefly explains his new ability, but also warns him about a dangerous man who is looking for a powerful ghost killer, and insinuates that George is that powerful ghost killer. Soon after, George meets Billy, a young woman with a brazen and unlikable personality. However, she is another ghost killer, and that makes her someone he needs to know. With the help of Billy and Phil, George looks for answers as to how and why he’s become what he is and who and what the dangerous man wants. His quest for knowledge leads him to new friends and allies, but also to enemies he could never have imagined, enemies that killed his mother and grandparents and now want him.

Martin Roy Hill is the author of the military mystery thriller, “The Killing Depths,” and the award-winning short story collection, “DUTY: Suspense and Mystery Stories from the Cold War and Beyond.” His latest mystery thriller, “Empty Places,” was released in October 2013.
Martin spent more than 20 years as a staff reporter and editor for newspapers and magazines, before becoming a military analyst specializing in battlefield medical operations for the Navy. His freelance credits include Reader’s Digest, LIFE, Newsweek, Omni, American History, Coast Guard Magazine, Retired Officer Magazine, the Los Angeles Times Sunday Opinion Section, and many more.

Sixteen years ago I embarked on a teaching Grand Tour throughout Asia. What a fascinating journey these years have been! After seeing much of Vietnam, Cambodia, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand, in between stints of teaching and futures trading, I settled seven years ago here in beautiful Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.
I’m an avid fan of SF, Horror, Fantasy, Historical fiction, DVD serials, and Asian transcendental writing. I write SF, Horror, Film Criticism, and adventure comedy.
I’m frankly fascinated by this morphing world of book publishing. Imagine integrating multimedia in an ebook, i.e. period folk ballads as chapter breaks for a Historical novel. Music and visuals done right would enhance and deepen a reading. Ten years ago no one thought e-readers would ever be popular, and look at them now. Dale E. Manolakas earned her B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles, and M.A., M.S., Ph.D. and J.D. degrees from the University of Southern California. She is a member of the California Bar, had the privilege of clerking for The Honorable Arthur L. Alarcón at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, was a litigator in two major Los Angeles law firms, and a senior appellate attorney at the California Court of Appeals, as well as an Administrative Law Judge.
Before that she was a teacher, primarily at the high school, adult school, and university levels, and holds a public administrative services credential. In addition, she has pursued her passion for acting, primarily on the stage, but also in film and television. She is a member of both Actors’ Equity and SAG-AFTRA. She also has raised three very independent daughters and lives with her husband, a retired attorney, in an otherwise animal-free environment in California.

In this 7,300 word mash-up re-telling of the Walton Letters that introduce Mary Shelley’s classic gothic horror novel, Robert Walton, an underachieving pot dealer from Spokane, navigates a beat up RV towards Las Vegas with noble plans to save the family home from foreclosure. One evening while stuck in the desert en route, he and his crew witness a giant figure gliding across the desert horizon, “as if propelled by some magical force.” Their first inclination, that it might just be the weed, is extinguished the next morning when another figure — an emaciated Victor Frankenstein, corrupt Washington super-lobbyist extraordinaire — bangs his failing Segway into their RV and falls to the ground, before asking for an espresso. An incredible request for a man in such a state, particularly given the nightmarish dream of revenge that he is chasing after, a dream that will be recounted in a full mash-up edition of Frankenstein to be released during the 2016 election season: that of creating the perfect presidential candidate out of individual body parts, each sponsored by special interest groups and corporations that gain control of a percentage of the candidate’s brain, based upon how much they contribute.
Some friendships with young Pentagon aids who work in top-secret Robotic Humanoid Intelligence departments are not strategic, others are.

Vrinda originally grew up in Arizona, but moved to England in 1999, where she now lives with her husband and their very energetic son. She is the author of the YA fantasy series The Descendants. Book 1 Mythos is currently available on Kindle.
Her first novel was The Ladder, a story about two friends learning to grow through their difficult childhoods and find the light that lies inside themselves.
Vrinda also runs a publishing house for writers with neurological conditions, called Conditional Publications. Their first book, Check Mates: A Collection of Fiction, Poetry and Artwork about Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, by People with OCD, was released in 2010 (Kindle and paperback), with future books in the pipeline.
In addition to her writing, Vrinda also does freelance proofreading and editing, and tutors GCSE / A-Level English.
