   Author Bio:
   The best stories of life are never black or white, right or wrong. It’s not so much the actions the characters take, but more the reasons behind those actions.

   Southern California resident who grew up on fantasy and sci-fi movies, comic books, and classic RPGs – And I never grew out of them.

   I’ve always loved writing as much as reading and in 2012 decided to take my writing into the professional realm. I began working on Echoes of Power, an epic fantasy series, that has since grown and evolved into much more than I could ever have dreamed. The first installment, Echoes of Power: Book I is slated for release 2015.

   My taste in reading and writing varies widely but fantasy will always be my go-to genre.

   Fadehan Adeoshun is definitely not my pen name *wink*. I was born and raised in Nigeria, where I also completed my tertiary education as an accountant.

   I remembered, when I was young, how much I loved listening to folk-tales told by my grandparents. Later, I’d gather my siblings and feed them with fables that were closely related to what I’d heard from my grandparents.

   I was fourteen years old, maybe younger, when I wrote my first story. I was so confident about it that I called a popular movie producer and said, “I want to sell a film for you.”

   “A film, you said?” the produced answered.

   Many years later, I’d cover my face from shame when I realised I should have said I had a manuscript. The draft got rotten in my desk drawer but I kept my dreams of being a writer alive and treasured it as one would treasure one’s eyes.

   When it was time for me to decide on what I really wanted to do, it was very easy for me to resurrect my passion for writing. I attended a creative writing course in New York just to boost my confidence (I just don’t want to write blindly) and polish me. Zombies, ghosts, vampires, werewolves, aliens, anything paranormal, I love it all. And I’m drawn to epic fantastic tales that put you in dark dystopian worlds where it is a challenge just to stay alive. The Stand, by Stephen King, is one of my favorite novels. Watership Down, by Richard Adams, is another, and you will find my love of animals evident in my writing. I also love a good erotic romance, but was never able to find this in the horror novels that I loved so much. Thus the writer in me was born.
