Suzanna Linton has lived in South Carolina for the majority of her life. In fact the town where she spent most of her growing up years, Holly Hill, is the inspiration of the fictitious Hammondville, Desdemona’s hometown in WILLOWS OF FATE.In 2002, Suzanna had the opportunity to attend the summer program of the SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, where she began to really hone her craft. That experience cemented her love of writing and she went on to Francis Marion University, where she majored in Professional Writing. After graduating, she remained in Florence and eventually began working at the local library, where she met her now husband. Eventually, she quit her job at the library to pursue writing full time.
When she isn’t writing (or procrastinating), Suzanna enjoys working in her rose garden, reading, doing crotchet, and spoiling her nieces and nephew. She volunteers for several charitable works and loves to help those in need. All three of her pets are rescues and she’s been known to swing a U-turn if she sees a dog wandering down the road. Suzanna would probably bring a hellhound home if she could catch it.

I have spent more than 7 interesting decades on this earth. I grew up in eastern Massachusetts and when I was old enough my parents allowed me to take public transportation into Boston, where I explored the city to my heart’s content. I walked the streets, visited used bookstores, attended an occasional matiness of a play. I read quite a bit of fiction and started to learn about classical music. Interests I’ve been able to pursue throughout my life began then. Especially, I dreamed about being a writer. Rarely have I enjoyed such freedom.Other experiences that influenced writing I’ve done include four years at the University of Chicago, another four years as an enlisted man in the American army, and work in the banking business that gave me an adult view of city living. Later experience as a seminary student in my mid-forties, especially a year I spent as an intern in Florida, have also added a dimension to my writing. And then more than a third of my life in Canada, first as pastor of a Lutheran church in Sudbury, Ontario and 7 years of retirement living in Toronto.
And while all that was going on, I managed to write 11 novels and 2 shorter works that are now available on kindle, with more to come, if the good Lord is willing.

The guardians are given a gift of a new home. A visit to the home by Edan and Alysa, puts the couple in danger after they take a late night flight and are spotted. The local law enforcement comes down on the couple and their new guardians pretty hard, forcing them to come up with a plausible story about the large birds that they saw.
The story closes with a surprise ending that is sure to make the reader smile with delight.
