Pacificus

About Pacificus:

What happens when a group of the world’s wealthiest people desire a haven for themselves and their assets?

Pacificus is built one hundred miles off the coast of Ecuador. This manmade island is governed solely by a set of principles and relies on the common sense of its inhabitants instead of laws.

What could go wrong?

For Gaspar Delgado, the island’s administrator, nothing. He need only find the balance between the privileged indulgence of its residents and order.

However, Conrad Silverstein, a smug self-serving newspaper editor, is certain something sinister lurks under the high-minded values supposedly espoused by Pacificans and sends reporter, Alicia Jones, to find out what it is.

Will this utopia be threatened by those willing to exploit liberty at any expense?

Redemption Lake

About Redemption Lake:

Guilt forces Matt to act on impulse and hide his involvement with Crystal.

Detective Winston Radhauser knows Matt is hiding something. But as the investigation progresses, Radhauser’s attention is focused on Matt’s father. Matt’s world closes in when his dad is arrested for Crystal’s murder and Travis breaks off their friendship. Despite his father’s guilty plea, Matt knows his dad is innocent and only trying to protect his son. Devastated and bent on self-destruction, Matt heads for the lake where his cousin died—the only place he believes can truly free him. Are some secrets better left buried?

Redemption Lake is a novel of love and betrayal. It’s about truth and lies, friendship and redemption, about assuming responsibility, and the risks a father and son will take to protect each other.

Strictly Analog by Richard Levesque

About Strictly Analog by Richard Levesque:

What’s a private detective to do in a future where nothing is private any more?

For Ted Lomax, the answer is to find clients who need their info kept off the grid, and that’s what Ted has done for years, skirting the high tech that runs the new California and living on the fringes of society. But when his daughter is accused of murdering her boyfriend–an agent in the Secret Police–Ted has to dig himself out of the hole he’s been in for years in order to save her.

Before long, he’s pulled into a shadow world of underground hackers, high-end programmers, and renegade gear-heads, all of whom seem to have a stake in California’s future. The further he digs into the case, the clearer it becomes that it’s about more than one dead agent. Solving it might save his daughter. And it might get him killed. And it just might open the door to secrets that reach back to the attack that almost killed him eighteen years before. At any rate, Ted Lomax will never be the same.

“…fast-paced futuristic thriller…”–Publishers Weekly*

“…a well-crafted story with realistic characters we can root for in a hard-boiled landscape…It’s a story that should appeal to fans of early Gibson or Sterling. And now that our world is much closer to the cyberpunk vision of tomorrow that was forecast decades ago, the story should appeal to contemporary detective fiction fans too. Strictly Analog is highly recommended.”–The New Poddler Review of Books

Strictly Analog will be discounted to just 99 cents from 5/14/17 to 5/18/17

Negotiating for Success: Essential Strategies and Skills by George Siedel

About Negotiating for Success: Essential Strategies and Skills by George Siedel:

In this highly-rated book the author, University of Michigan business school professor George Siedel, presents a practical introduction to the strategies and skills that are essential to your success in personal and business negotiations.

We all negotiate on a daily basis. We negotiate with our spouses, children, parents and friends. We negotiate when we rent an apartment, buy a car, purchase a house and apply for a job. Your ability to negotiate might even be the most important factor in your career advancement. And negotiation is also key to business success. Contracting capability, which is the ability to negotiate and perform successful contracts, is the most important function in any organization.

Whether you are in a personal setting or a business setting this book covers the entire process of negotiation from your decision to negotiate through an evaluation of your negotiation performance. It does so by following the four key stages of negotiation: (1) Prepare to Negotiate, (2) Use Key Strategies and Tactics During Negotiations, (3) Close Your Negotiation with a Binding Contract, and (4) Perform and Evaluate Your Agreement.

Based on the latest research and the experience of negotiators worldwide this book will, within these four key stages of negotiation, enable you to: (1) complete a negotiation analysis that includes your reservation price and zone of potential agreement, (2) use decision trees to calculate your alternatives if the negotiation is unsuccessful, (3) assess your negotiating style, (4) increase your negotiating power, (5) decide how to resolve ethical dilemmas during negotiations, (6) use psychological tools and avoid psychological traps during negotiations, and (7) evaluate your performance as a negotiator.

About Warwolfe:

1066 A.D. – Discover the origins of the original de Wolfe pack, led by the man known as WARWOLFE. Before the Duke of Normandy conquered England, a legend arose. A man so fierce, so brave, and so noble, that the mere whisper of his name could strike both fear and admiration into the hearts of all men.

That name is Warwolfe.

Gaetan de Wolfe is this man. A legend from a family of legends, the greatest de Wolfe warrior arises as William the Conqueror sets foot in England to claim what he believes is his birthright. Gaetan brings with him eleven of the fiercest knights the realm has ever seen, plowing their way into the English countryside, forging their legacies at the Battle of Hastings. But when one of Gaetan’s men is kidnapped by the rogue brother of the Earl of Mercia, Gaetan refuses to let his man go. His loyalty to his men is above all.

A rescue mission of epic proportions begins.

Guiding the original de Wolfe Pack on this task into deadly enemy territory is a lady warrior known as Ghislaine of Mercia. The sister of the man who kidnapped Gaetan’s knight, her loyalties are torn. Sent to betray Gaetan, Ghislaine is not sure she can go through with those plans because her attraction to Gaetan is undeniable. There is a spark between them that refuses to die. Together, Gaetan and Ghislaine embark on a dangerous adventure where myths are revealed, loyalties are tested, and where a growing passion between them becomes all-consuming.

Live the legend.
