The First Kingdom by D. N. Meinster

About The First Kingdom by D. N. Meinster:

Three hundred years of peace was unprecedented for the Kingdom of Kytheras, yet each citizen went about like it would never end. The young blacksmith, Aros Asilias, planned a life with his girlfriend. The young prince, Doren Tunsev, plotted abdication. And the young mage, Rikki Nasem, dreamed of her freedom. All the while, the immortal King Neanthal remained locked in his prison. No one believed his followers would return, or that they would be capable of releasing him. But when they reappear and swear to do just that, it falls to Aros, Doren, and Rikki to stop them.

Author Bio:
D. N. Meinster is a Rutgers University graduate and former New Jersey political operative. After retiring from politics, hopefully before it corrupted his soul, he began working as an IT professional, a field that did not make him hate his life. While lamenting that he chose a political science degree over computer science, he filled the vast void of despair by writing several novels that will never be released to the general public. In 2016, he determined that one novel was ready to be let out into the world, and launched said novel on Amazon.com, which required by common standards a biography, resulting in what the voice in your head is presently reading. Unbeknownst to him, by self-publishing on Amazon.com, he unwittingly joined the legions of so-called independent authors, adding yet another title to the already extensive list of positions he’s held, all while under the age of 30.

More than Monsters by JM Riou

About More than Monsters by JM Riou:

Half the pages, twice the action. Swords, spells, muskets, and cannons vs. a horde of orcs. Check out this series starter for free.

Cora is leading adventurers to the heart of a monster army. They go in for the treasure. They come out with a war.

She can handle the orcs, it’s the heroes from the city that scare her. She’s small and only 20 years old, but she’s been hiding from the monsters in the mountains for years. Now the orcs are invading.

The leader of the adventurers is a dangerous madman who couldn’t care less about getting the baron’s treasure. He’d rather take Cora to the wilderness where no one can help her. Can Cora survive the heroes and the orcs? Can they get out in time to warn the people of a monster army on the march?

Author Bio:
Riou’s books are remembered for his action scenes, and they come from as much experience as imagination. A decade working in the Canadian wilderness, scrambling through forests, swamps, and up mountains gave him a life few writers get to experience. If his action seems real, it’s because of this tough apprenticeship.

He now lives 20 minutes from Jasper National Park. Time not poured into his writing is spent mountain biking or exploring the dozens of mountain ranges within an hour of home.

Born and raised in Sydney, Australia. I am in my thirties and happily married with three gorgeous boys.
I currently have six full length books released and one novella.
My first love has always been reading, so the writing side is very natural to me. Favourite books include anything by Abbi Glines, but Fallen too Far is a favourite, Pulse & Collide by Gail McHugh and The Driven trilogy by K Bromberg.
Hobbies of mine are playing netball; shopping and I love listening to music. I add it into my writing frequently.
I look forward to introducing my readers to new characters, as I have a new book coming out.
I am totally enjoying this rollercoaster of being an Indie author and hoping others enjoy my writing as much as I love writing it

Having nobody to lean on has made her leery of ever getting involved with another man. That is, until she meets Atlas, a Merman who is more man than any she has ever known.
