Three years ago we rescued a mixed pit bull who only has one eye and was probably used as a bait dog for fighting. Tootsie is the most passive dog ever and you can tell she was abused.

She now has a loving home with our cat Snowflake who was also a rescue. They get along just fine and are glad to have a loving home.

Over the years I have been giving to no kill shelters especially Paws For Chicago who I stumbled upon by accident. Lately I have also been supporting two other shelters. Hope Animal Shelter in Tucson and Ruff House Rescue in Long Island.
