I grew up in Scotland, but after I met my Dutch husband in America we decided to move to New Zealand and that’s where we’ve settled. My first book, the risque Reckoning Daze, became a #1 best-selling satire on Amazon. I drew on my own experiences with anorexia and living in Los Angeles when writing it. My new book, Book of Shadows: Volume One: Casting isn’t risque in the sense that Reckoning Daze was, but it is in the sense that the spells the characters cast are all based on real witchcraft spells, drawing on my own experiences with Wicca (Witchcraft). The book is intended for young adults fourteen and over and falls under the urban fantasy category.

Currently, I am in the process of editing Book of Shadows: Volume Two: Hunting, which is entirely written already. Soon I’ll begin writing Book of Shadows: Volume Three, which I am very excited about. Volume Two is actually long enough that I could’ve split it into two books, but it was written as one long book and I’d like to give the readers a great deal for their dollar so I’m going to go ahead and publish it as one long volume. I will release Book of Shadows: Volume Two as soon as I’m done editing it and it has reached a certain number of downloads. After all, there’s no point in putting out Volume Two until Volume One has found an audience.

Presently, I reside in the Lowell area of Massachusetts, where Book of Shadows takes place, with my cat, Mister White and my turtle, Johnny Rocket (who we usually just call J. Rock).
