Mary Jo Putney was born in Upstate New York with a reading addiction, a condition for which there is no known cure. After earning degrees in English Literature and Industrial Design at Syracuse University, she did various forms of design work in California and England before inertia took over in Baltimore, Maryland, where she has lived very comfortably ever since.

Mercy by Pam Dingée is a sweet, hot and very intense romance with a few twists. I enjoyed that even with this book being mostly in the first person for the hero and heroine, since I mostly don’t do first person stories this was quite an enjoyable read.
Dom is sexy, funny and a true “Bad Boy” and he has it bad for Edie. Dom’s character is so open that he is easy to connect with. Ms. Dingée never leaves you asking what is the angle of this character. The true question that Dom is asking himself is will he let Eden see what is in his heart?
Eden is flat out fun and sweet. I liked watching her go through her paces as it were with her character, and trust me there were a few of them. Her bond with Dom’s sister Aly is a hoot! I laughed so much when these two were together. With everything that Eden learns in her travels, could the one thing she needs, be the one she loses?
Dom and Eden no matter what the setting between passions rising to fighting themselves and each other, there is one thing never lacking and that is the sparks between them.
Secondary characters helped add richness to an already strong plot, especially Aly & Sloane. The only others were Eden’s men. *grin* The plot had some interesting points, twist that I even did not see coming. The only fault I have with this whole book is the switching back and forth to present and past that for me I had to really stay with the book so not to lose the feel.
If you enjoy sexy characters, sweet dialog then you need to add Mercy by the temptress known as Pam Dingée.
