About Empowerment through Love:
Our soul recognizes words of Truth when we hear them. There is a resonance deep within us. Some part of us comes more alive in the presence of Truth. Each poem in this book affirms the Divine Truth that God is Love, that we are all One, and that we are each of us Whole, Perfect and Complete in every moment. No matter where you are on your journey, these words of Truth will lift you and guide you along your way.

The Bearwalker’s Daughter
About The Bearwalker’s Daughter:
Karin McNeal hasn’t grasped who she really is or her fierce birthright. A tragic secret from the past haunts the young Scots-Irish woman longing to learn more of her mother’s death and the mysterious father no one will name. The elusive voices she hears in the wind hint at the dramatic changes soon to unfold in the mist-shrouded Alleghenies in Autumn, 1784.
Jack McCray, the wounded stranger who staggers through the door on the eve of her twentieth birthday and anniversary of her mother’s death, holds the key to unlock the past. Will Karin let this handsome frontiersman lead her to the truth and into his arms, or seek the shelter of her fiercely possessive kinsmen? Is it only her imagination or does someone, or something, wait beyond the brooding ridges—for her?

Married to my high school sweetheart, I live on a farm in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with my human family and furbabies. An avid gardener, my love of herbs and heirloom plants figures into my work. The rich history of Virginia, the Native Americans, and the people who journeyed here from far beyond her borders are at the heart of my inspiration. I’m especially drawn to colonial America and the drama of the American Revolution. In addition to historical romance, I also write time travel, paranormal, YA/NA fantasy romance, and nonfiction.
Hippie Logic
Set in 1960s California, The Cryanes (a garage band based on The Monkees) spend the day reminiscing with their friends. Funny enough, most of their shared fond memories take place within the past few years. The friends recount everything about their intertwined journeys that they experienced before they met. This leads into how they formed the band and different struggles that they faced along the way. Tales of romance, hardships, and plenty of hippie hijinks reveal the unbreakable bond the friends share. It is clear that the “sex, drugs and rock-n-roll” mantra never was more hilarious or more real.

Author Bio:
Gina Marie is an English major, specializing in creative writing at University of Michigan, Flint. Though she has been writing stories since she was a child, she didn’t start to write her first book, a novella titled Epidemic, until she was in high school. In the years following high school, she worked hard in trying to gain the attention of publishers only to decide to go the self-publishing route. So far, with a few books including her first full-length novel Hippie Logic under her belt, she has found her current home at online publisher Createspace. Hippie Logic, which is the first book in what is to be a trilogy, is also the first book of hers to be published in different formats such as paperback and electronic formats for Kindle and Nook. Although her first three books are in the horror genre, Gina Marie writes for all sorts of genres depending on the story that is being told in each book. She is both a music lover and has a great interest in history, specifically of the 1960s/1970s era, and she tries to incorporate aspects of these things into her stories. Still a college student, Gina Marie is always working hard on writing and improving her writing through her studies as she achieves her current goal of earning her degree.
Glimpse by Lisa Mathisen
About Glimpse by Lisa Mathisen:
Forty imagined scenes from forty imagined lives. Glimpse is a different kind of short story collection, highlighting scenes or short “glimpses” into the lives of the characters.
Cry with a Goth rocker in London in one scene, then blink and travel to heaven with an angel in another. Laugh with a middle aged woman on a crowded bus, then flip to another scene and soar with a seagull in search of Cheetos.
Some scenes are poignant; some hilarious, some sad, some ironic. Just like life.

Author Bio:
Born in rural Appalachia, Lisa Mathisen dreamed of traveling the world after seeing the Venetian canals on television. After working every type of menial job one can imagine she took off backpacking through Europe while her peers went to college. Inevitably falling in love with Scandinavia and marrying a Dane, she attended business college in Copenhagen, delivering newspapers at night and studying all day. She graduated as the first woman in Denmark to achieve a Business Innovation degree,
shocking even herself. Raised in a family of educators she was always a fan of writing. Her father; also a published author, taught her to be as concise as possible. Her sister’s expert level editing was also a strong influence. Mathisen prefers to write fiction that marries humor with poignancy. Such is life as she sees it. Returning to Ohio many years later she began a career in export and remains enthralled by the joys of selling American made goods all over the world. Mathisen currently lives in Columbus with her rescue corgi Coco Puff, enjoying boxed wine and Belgian chocolate every chance she gets. She has yet to see Venice.

Cass Destry is delighted to take on a case that doesn’t seem very dangerous, after her last tense dealings with a stalker and serial killer. A young woman has apparently gone missing, if only in her mother’s eyes. She is likely sitting on a sandy beach somewhere sipping margaritas as she tans.
But as the accidents and coincidences start to pile up, Cass begins to wonder what she has gotten herself into … as Cass Destry rides again.

Panda Parents: Hua and Chris, parents with two boys.
We teach our two toddlers reading, math, science, nature, and Chinese at home. Also a little bit Spanish! At the same time, we do a lot of art work with them (painting, drawing, craft, anything that is creative). Sometimes they ask us really cute/curious questions, and we found the best way to teach them is by telling them fun stories, so we started writing down these stories.
Two years ago, Hua began to illustrate these stories. We just published the first 16 stories during this Holiday season–Panda Kids ABC: Davy Rainbow Holiday Adventures! on kindle and Amazon Video Direct.
These stories not only teach featured letters, the sounds of these letters, a few featured words, but also teach little kids math, animal biology, plants biology, nature, behaviors, emotions, safety . . . We also introduce Spanish and Chinese to little ones to broaden their horizon.
Now we are on our 17th book –Scotty Skunk hears a Scary Sound. It teaches the letter S, its sound, a few S words, biology about mammals and reptile, awareness of safety, and kindness. It will be released soon!
A little bit about Hua and Chris:
Hua loved reading fairy tales when she was little growing up in a big city.
Chris grew up as a high energy, rough and tumble boy in New England.
Hua holds a M.D. and Ph.D. in biology.
Chris ended up traveling the world flying fighter jets and is now an airline pilot.
Hua loved reading and learning new things so she became a neuroscientist.
Hua found the best way to learn is to have fun first.
Chris found the ability to learn through reading gives him the greatest freedom.
Together, they write stories for young children.
Their dream is to:
Engage those precious young minds.
Entertain them.
Empower their brains.
Hua and Chris want to make all of you feel good when you put your precious little ones in front of their books and videos.
Please share their work with other parents and children if you and your little ones enjoy them.

Where the turf meets the surf, in old Del Mar, take a plane, take a train, take a car. Crime, danger, friendship, true love—how will it end? Gambling, friction, longboards, beauty and form, anatomy and finance, coffee and sunrise. This is the story of Harry, Persephone, Danny, John, Fiona, Rock, Jean-Marie, the band (Harry’s Cherries), the auto shop (Doug’s Bugs), the surf shop (Dave’s Waves), wave after galloping wave of drenched, gorgeous horses, fat stacks of money, long pours of tequila, and ideal sailboats on a flawless sea. Paco’s Tacos is what every oxygen-breathing man or woman lives for, the omphalos of the universe, in the North County of San Diego. But will it survive?
