About Transformative Spiritual Practices:

All any one of us needs to do is turn or go onto social media to witness the civil unrest and uncomfortable feelings people are presently experiencing. This small book is my response to this unrest.
My life has always been about spiritual exploration: about exploring what truly brings us healing and a sense of well-being. This exploration has spanned over 40+ years, across multiple cultures, religions and traditions. Some of the teachings have been incredibly healing and insightful; others did not result in the growth or transformation I was looking for.
Last month I had pulled all of my journals that contain these teachings to make note of which practices I learned that had truly transformed my life. I was in the process of extracting these when our Presidential election took place, the outcome of which surprised many. What I have witnessed through the entire election process and especially after, is a country greatly divided, and a great number of people feeling angry, upset, fearful, lashing out, and uncomfortable.
At the same time, here I was sitting with teachings and practices that transformed my life. I immediately took and compiled the most fundamentally important practices, those that can help people move from their feelings of discomfort, anger, upset, fear to a place of peace, clarity, well-being and empowerment.
There was a time when we were far more intuitively and spiritually connected, when we were aware that if we needed to know, heal or better understand, we knew what we needed to do was go within, do our own work, accessing our connection with the Divine or whatever term you wish to use here – words are simply human constructs, the point being all of us have the ability to access greater wisdom than our own, to heal and better understand our self and others. We do not need a third party to do this, we do not need a counselor or a guru, we can achieve these results all on our own.
When I first started on a healing path, if someone suggested I meditate for 15 minutes a day, that felt highly inconvenient to me, and I resisted my work for a number of years. I was too busy to meditate or do the work suggested! But when my life became too uncomfortable, I was more willing to try out the practices suggested to me. What resulted was the following: I found a sense of inner peace. I started having insights and greater clarity. Information started coming to me I wouldn’t have otherwise known. I became acutely aware of when my ego or mind were vying for control, clearly understood they are not me and that they really stand in the way of progress.
When I utilized the practices in this book, I began to notice shifts: I healed old wounds, felt better, my relationships improved, I became much more efficient, and more understanding. Genuine transformation took place to such a large degree that now, if I ever feel uncomfortable, I turn to these practices. My spiritual work is the most valuable and rewarding part of my daily.
It is my belief that at this time the Universe is asking us to live our lives with more awareness and consciousness. It is time for us to heal old wounds and our shadow, and to address and eliminate that which divides us. It is time for us to let go of attacking one another, name-calling, shaming, blaming, and the first thing we must do before we can get there is to heal our self. The practices within this book, if utilized and made part of your daily routine, will not only bring you healing but will provide you with a direct spiritual connection, providing you with insights beyond your imagination, most likely with healing beyond which you have previously experienced, and a connection that will serve to guide you along your way. In this respect, you will feel a Divine love and compassion that is beyond measure and know beyond a shadow of a doubt it exists. Then you will clearly see the direction you wish to take and will be in far greater a position to make it happen.

Last month I had pulled all of my journals that contain these teachings to make note of which practices I learned that had truly transformed my life. I was in the process of extracting these when our Presidential election took place, the outcome of which surprised many. What I have witnessed through the entire election process and especially after, is a country greatly divided, and a great number of people feeling angry, upset, fearful, lashing out, and uncomfortable.
At the same time, here I was sitting with teachings and practices that transformed my life. I immediately took and compiled the most fundamentally important practices, those that can help people move from their feelings of discomfort, anger, upset, fear to a place of peace, clarity, well-being and empowerment.
There was a time when we were far more intuitively and spiritually connected, when we were aware that if we needed to know, heal or better understand, we knew what we needed to do was go within, do our own work, accessing our connection with the Divine or whatever term you wish to use here – words are simply human constructs, the point being all of us have the ability to access greater wisdom than our own, to heal and better understand our self and others. We do not need a third party to do this, we do not need a counselor or a guru, we can achieve these results all on our own.
When I first started on a healing path, if someone suggested I meditate for 15 minutes a day, that felt highly inconvenient to me, and I resisted my work for a number of years. I was too busy to meditate or do the work suggested! But when my life became too uncomfortable, I was more willing to try out the practices suggested to me. What resulted was the following: I found a sense of inner peace. I started having insights and greater clarity. Information started coming to me I wouldn’t have otherwise known. I became acutely aware of when my ego or mind were vying for control, clearly understood they are not me and that they really stand in the way of progress.
When I utilized the practices in this book, I began to notice shifts: I healed old wounds, felt better, my relationships improved, I became much more efficient, and more understanding. Genuine transformation took place to such a large degree that now, if I ever feel uncomfortable, I turn to these practices. My spiritual work is the most valuable and rewarding part of my daily.
It is my belief that at this time the Universe is asking us to live our lives with more awareness and consciousness. It is time for us to heal old wounds and our shadow, and to address and eliminate that which divides us. It is time for us to let go of attacking one another, name-calling, shaming, blaming, and the first thing we must do before we can get there is to heal our self.
