Her paranormal romances come with uniquely fresh perspectives on “imaginary” creatures, characters, and themes. She adds a dash of scifi, a flourish of fantasy, enough humor to make you laugh out loud, and, occasionally, enough steam to make you squirm in your chair. Her heroines are independent femmes with flaws and minds of their own whether they are aliens, witches, demonologists, werewolves, hybrids, psychics, or past life therapists. Her heroes are hot and hunky, but they also have brains, character, and good manners… usually.
The rich characterizations come from being a lifelong student of behavior, casually, and a serious student of behavior academically. She also studied comparative religion, myths, and Dark Ages history.
Victoria lives in The Woodlands, Texas with her husband and a very smart, mostly black German Shepherd dog.

Tears of the Silenced
When I was six years old my family started to live and dress like the Amish. For the next twelve years, my sister and I were subjected to almost complete isolation, sexual abuse, and severe physical violence.
In my late teens, my parents feared we would escape and took us to an Amish community where we were adopted and became baptized members.I was devastated to once again find myself in a world of fear, animal cruelty and sexual abuse. Going to the police was forbidden. A few years later I was sexually assaulted by the bishop, I knew I had to get help and one morning in early March I made a dash for a tiny police station in rural Minnesota. When I refused to recant my police report I was excommunicated from the Amish and found myself plummeted into the strange modern world with only a second-grade education and no ID or social security card. Based on a true story.

This is not a book that promotes mysticism. Far from it: the purpose of this book is to demystify that which has been held as arcane for thousands of years. The tree of life opens a window onto the human soul that some may find uncomfortable.

The Perfect Tear
Eleanor, a timid orphan, has no clue to her real purpose, but she also has no desire to become a subservient old maid, like the nuns she is forced to live with. Eleanor believes Edward, the boy she loves, will save her from being forced to take vows. She knows Mother Superior has no intention of letting her leave since her songs are they only thing that can make the barren earth yield enough food to keep those within the abbey walls from starving. Her devastation is complete when she discovers Edward is a prince and heir to the throne, but it is the impetus she needs to leave the safety of the abbey and go in search of her father, the man who seemingly abandoned her ten years before. Edward renounces his crown and begs Eleanor for forgiveness. He will help Eleanor find her father. Together, with Audrey, Eleanor’s best and only friend, little Bella, her pet goat, and Edward’s valet, John, they flee across the sea. They do not get far when Lerion, an inter-dimensional being, attacks their ship, steals Eleanor’s songs and sweeps Eleanor, Audrey and Bella overboard. The girls find themselves in a strange land full of unknown dangers where they are met by an ethereal creature, Tsera, who gives Eleanor a choice. Go home to Edward, never to sing again and wait until her world dies or, risk everything to find The Perfect Tear, a crystal that contains the Third Vibration and the only thing that will stop the destruction of her world. Eleanor is terrified but willing to accept Tsera’s challenge. Eleanor must continually conquer her fear and self-doubt to allow her instincts to help her find the Third Vibration before Lerion does. If her fear subdues her inner knowing, Lerion will use her and her extraordinary gift to destroy all that she loves. Just like the notes of a song must connect to create a perfect melody, Eleanor must discover the connections needed to create the harmony, which will truly save her world.

“The first thing anybody tells you about this business is to say what makes you unique and different, but I couldn’t and the very idea of it never sat well with me and after much deliberation, I finally realized why.
Because, I’m not unique or different-I’m exactly like you and I love that. We each have a unique filter through which we interpret the world, and with this filter in place, I write stories and songs and you might find them surprising or intriguing or confronting, you may relate or you may not. They may make you laugh and sometimes, even cry.
You may or may not understand what I’m trying to say and you may not understand me, however, rest assured, once we get past the filters, at our core, we are wonderfully and beautifully, exactly the same.”
Beautifulest
From the pen of acclaimed creator Donchatz comes a new, impossibly imaginative story that is at once a tale of high adventure, a post modern love story, and an oftentimes disturbing look into the manias and phobias of the human psyche.
In the wilds of modern day Ohio, an unnamed man who is really nobody special searches for his missing love. Soon he finds himself sifting through the mysterious past of the woman he’s lost. As the motive behind his quest spirals out of control, he finds himself drawn into in a strange netherworld that lies behind the shadows of small town America where he encounters a bizarre group of allies and enemies: a redneck gypsy oracle; an optimistic yet forlorn girl with painted on eyebrows; a group of strangely living cartoon animal men; and a transvestite, mud racing giant who is as much an outcast of that strange world as he is.
Gripping, thrilling, with near lethal injections of comedy and menace, Beautifulest is a powerful, surreal novel that is reminiscent of Franz Kafka and Haruki Murakami with a bit of Elmore Leonard thrown in for good measure.

Author Bio:
Donchatz is a creator, whether it’s painting large scale allegorical oil paintings, or doing resistance work with liquified oil paint and heat lamps, or writing books that are, in the end, only good stories that he is compelled to tell without regard for genre or length. Each creation is its own, so the story dictates the length. When not creating, he is usually busy playing practical jokes on unsuspecting people with his son as they travel around doing everything they can to enjoy a lifestyle as unconventional and unique as the characters in his novels. As a fan of authors such as Murakami, Saramago, Eco and Elmore Leonard, Donchatz manages to blend styles and these seemingly disparate influences into a literary style that is completely and uniquely his own. He also runs a website, well, he doesn’t actually run it but merely updates it when he is in a place in the evening where all the martinis have been drank and the dancing is finished, where he posts free short stories and offers free novel giveaways to people interested in trying his voice in their ear to see if it works for them. At the end of those strange days filled with creating and living, the only objective is to entertain his readers in the same way so many authors entertained him, and like those authors, if Donchatz can make you think while he entertains, then he truly had accomplished his goal.

Beginnings: Ahe’ey, Book 1
About Beginnings: Ahe’ey, Book 1:
Series praise:
“Packed with invigorating ideas and prose, Le Fay’s novel is a nuanced exploration of feminism and its potential—for good or ill. A finely grained achievement that challenges the status quo on all fronts.” – Kirkus reviews
“If it’s cross-genre reading you seek, with vivid protagonists and unexpected involvements, then Ahe’ey is the item of choice, recommended for its fast-paced action, super-charged fantasy, and memorable protagonists.” – Midwest book review
Quotes – Book 1:
“She believed in magic—the magic of places, the magic of people, the magic of coincidences, serendipity, and fortune. She enjoyed wandering through the world with the open mind and curiosity of a four-year-old child. In her world the mystical, mythical, and magical inhabited the same space and time as the ordinary and the practical. At Bethesda Terrace, she always felt close to a source of magic and creativity. It was as if she was tapping into the place where dragons, angels, gods, sorceresses, and demons came to life.”
“the pursuit and preservation of purity can drive prejudice and hate. Many crimes against humanity have been committed in its name. Purity is best applied to water.”
“Like the bronze statue of the Angel of the Waters, those who pursue perfection find themselves paralysed by the possibility of flaw, fault or failure.”
“She killed him instantly. She dipped her hand on his wound and licked the blood. Once again, she sank her hand into the blood and used four fingers to paint lines on her face. Sky’s defiant eyes locked on her enemy.”
“Away from the Sacred House, from his family, and from the comforts and privileges of the royal apparatus, the boy relied only on himself and on the few Ange’el that watched over them. The densest and most remote valley of the Ahe’ey forest was now their home—a haven from the devastating war that ravaged the land.”

From as young as I can remember, I have soothed myself to sleep by imagining epic stories of heroes, heroines, sorceresses, dragons, angels, and demons. I based my stories on the books and movies I was watching and the narratives that moved and inspired me.
I was as excited and delighted with Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre as I was with Battlestar Galactica (the original TV series). The Mists of Avalon, an Arthurian legend retelling from the point of view of the female characters, had as much effect on me as Cosmos by Carl Sagan.
I imagined myself occupying the boots of the hero as much as I occupied the glass slippers of the damsel in distress. The first one was what I wanted to be; the second was what society wanted me to be, and I believed them, for a little while…
