I actually began my career in the restaurant business many years ago. Upon learning different managerial techniques, I ended up in a large corporate retail company. I learned many great aspects of management and leadership, but also saw many flaws that now plague the company. I returned to the restaurant business and decided to write in my free time. Four years ago, I also had a dream one night, a real, intricate and highly detailed dream – a fantasy, adventure story if you will – of a girl who is a gifted wizard but may find that there are many ups and downs with discovering this. I never dream of fantasies or adventures. My dreams usually are of work-related or friend/family related incidents. So I began developing the story and am only a few months away from completing my first novel.
