Falls of Redemption by Justin Sloan
About Falls of Redemption by Justin Sloan
In a land where warriors can become gods, one man is torn from his love and forced to fight as a slave.
Readers are calling the Falls of Redemption trilogy “riveting” and “wonderfully written” in what they have termed, “part ancient Greek adventure, part military basic training story, and part love triangle.”
When his brother vanishes, Narcel is next in line to rule his city, but only wants a simple life with the girl he loves.
Little does he know, the heavens have greater plans for him. He’s taken from his village and forced to fight for a neighboring clan, but when war breaks out in the land of Braze, he must choose sides between the family he knew as a boy and the brothers in arms he’s formed as a man.
Forced to become the warrior he never wanted to be, torn from everything he thought he knew about life, Narcel builds the courage to set things right. But his actions propel him and his lands into an inescapable path toward war and destruction.
This omnibus edition contains almost 700 pages of epic military fantasy adventure, political backstabbing, and warfare. It includes Land of Gods, Retribution Calls, and Tears of Devotion.

Act of Surrender
Dr. James Hagen thought he’d bid Paranormal Security and Intelligence Agency good riddance nearly ten years back. He’d been an operative with them for so long that carving out a new path in life had taken time, but he’d achieved it. He’d made it his mission in life to help the wayward find a path again, to help those who couldn’t help themselves. All that changed when he fell into enemy hands. Now, unable to fully heal and plagued by nightmares and choppy visions of what is to come, James isn’t sure if he can keep going. That is, until he meets PSI’s newest person of interest—a quirky, sexy cyberpunk who totally turns his world upside down.
Laney Steele knows she’s onto something. It doesn’t matter that most have written her off as a conspiracy theorist and a hacktivist. She knows the government is hiding the existence of super soldiers who can shapeshift into animals. She’s so sure that she puts herself on the line to find out more, only what she uncovers isn’t exactly what she was hoping for, and it has a heck of a lot more to do with her than she ever thought possible. When her newfound online gamer buddy turns out to be a super solider, she throws caution to the wind just for a chance to be with him. Neither one of them realize the enemy has been lurking, waiting for the perfect moment to strike—again.

David started writing as a hobby in the 1980s. He interviewed Lynne McGranger, the Australian actress from Home and Away, when she was appearing in pantomime in Torquay, Devon. Surprisingly, his interview with her was published in People’s Friend, a UK magazine. Since then, he decided he would spend more time on writing.
He wrote his first poem, God’s Garden, which is featured in the Best Poems and Poets 2012.
Though he’ll forever be an Englishman at heart, he now lives in Mexico with his 3 dogs, Chula, Sooty, and Benji.
If he’s not working on his latest story, you can find him walking his dogs or watching Discovery channel.
David says that he and Bear Grylls have something in common: adventure.
David’s adventure is writing books!
Vash
If I have to burn down the entire city and give up everything to get her out, I’ll do it in a heartbeat.
Sophie’s only hope of escaping is to trust him, but she has been burned too many times in her past.
He’s violent, possessive, and cocky as hell. He’s trouble, and Sophie has more than enough trouble to deal with already. So why does her skin feel like it’s on fire when she looks at him? And why is she wasting her time with his promises?
But Vash al Domitus does not make false promises. When he wins the right to choose a slave as his claim, he chooses Sophie. And once she’s his, he’s never letting go.
They will both need to work together if they are going to survive against deadly gladiators, corrupt guards, and one of the most powerful slavers in the city…Vash’s father.
Vash is the fourth book in the Rebels of the Primus series, but can be read as a standalone. This page-turning science fiction book has plenty of steamy romance, action, and political intrigue. There are absolutely NO cliffhangers and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Duncan still finds Sophie as appealing as he had during boyhood vacations to the lake. Older and wiser now, he has his own reasons for wanting the land. His offer, however, hinges on a zoning change approval.
Bribery rumors threaten the deal and make Sophie wary of Duncan, yet she cannot deny his appeal. When her journalistic research uncovers a Jamieson family secret, trust becomes the hardest lesson for them both.

One Small Chance
One city of two million people and only three months to find her. What are his chances?
Isabel Antunes is content with her life as director of the English Academy in Lisbon. Then she’s hit by a man on a bike—a man her boss just hired to be her assistant. Despite Simon Ackerley’s repeated assurances to the contrary, Isabel believes he’s after her position, but she won’t hand it over without a fight. As if dealing with him all week is not enough, he shows up at church as well. Her only solace is in writing to the pen pal she knows as “Elliot”.
Simon Ackerley told his father that he was moving to Lisbon for the job. But that isn’t the only reason. Simon is looking for Amélie, the pen pal he’s written for fifteen years. A woman he knows everything about—except her real name and address.
When the biking accident reveals that Simon’s prickly co-worker Isabel is the elusive Amélie, he knows he has to win her trust before he can confess his true identity. If only he could tell her the actual reason why he’s come, he’s sure Isabel would treat him differently. But she’s not ready for the truth.
One Small Chance is a standalone novella of 43,000 words and it’s set in Lisbon, Portugal. It’s a clean and wholesome contemporary LDS romance in the A Love Story From Portugal series.

The Feral

In this new world Jason Hunt is a hunter with top secret clearance and full access to the highest ranking officials in the human and vampire societies. He roams the colonies hunting lawbreakers, anti-vampire extremist humans and feral vampires. The humans he call friends don’t truly know him, they don’t know who he truly is. Until one day when everything changes. Hunters become the hunted. Instinct fails. No one can be trusted. The world goes to hell again. Humans, werewolves, and vampires are forced to work together to fight this evil. Can anyone survive? Imminent danger could be sitting across the lunch room table from you. Would you recognise it?
An explosion down the street made the window where Jason stood rattle in its casing, while the light from the resulting fire lit the whole of the night sky in an eerie orange light. David and Shane both dove for cover as a second explosion shook the house. Jason ducked out of the sight of potential threats from the street, cursing as he did so.
Lillian grabbed her rifle and looked at Jason questioningly, when he nodded she took off, heading downstairs again.
“Shane, go to the back door, stay low, don’t let anyone or anything see you.” Jason instructed.
“Anything?” David queried.
Jason turned to him and nodded, “There’s something out there, I don’t know what yet, but let’s treat it as an enemy for now.”

My journey as a writer began with my stillbirth in 1994. I was born with a host of problems. My family never gave up on me. For the first few years of my life I was in and out of hospital attached to a drip and unable to do anything but sit and listen as a stream of loved ones sat and read book after book to me. At the age of seven I was officially excluded from needing schooling as doctors and educators believed I would never have the capacity to learn to read or write.
Thankfully my parents decided to do everything in their power to give me the best possible life. My mom decided to home-school me and my two younger sisters. Within a couple of weeks I could read and write; and while my handwriting and maths left a lot to be desired I loved to read. I read The Lord of The Rings trilogy by the time I was 10 and lost myself in the eerie creepy worlds of the best of authors.
During my 11th grade exams, back in 2012, I had to write a composition for my English exam and found the process to be… challenging. A few days after that, I started typing out some thoughts and ideas and quickly found that I’d written 15 pages. The months after were busy, I continued to write the story that I had started, I was preparing for my matric exams and my SAT exam, and I’d started horse riding lessons as well.
After I finished my GED and SAT exams, I took a gap year working full time at a local chain store and I started a course in journalism through the South African Writers College. I’d get up at 06: 30 a.m. and have coffee while I got dressed, I’d leave the house on foot at seven, and work until four or five in the evening. Then I’d still have to work on my course for two or three hours to keep up with full time learners – quite a gap year!
The following year I dedicated myself to full time studies. I completed another two courses in journalism, and had an article published in the SA Writers College Times before moving on to a course in novel writing. Presently, I’ve been featured in my town’s local newspaper, started my fifth course with the SA Writers College, and I’m doing a course in teaching English Second Language and another in Copy-editing and Proofreading.
When I’m not writing, I spend time reading, listening to music, or watching films, series, and anime. I go horseback riding and I also train in the Korean martial art of Taekwondo twice a week.

All The Lonely Spirits (Journal 1 of the Sun and Moon Archives) by Jane J. Henri
About All The Lonely Spirits (Journal 1 of the Sun and Moon Archives) by Jane J. Henri:
Medium Abby Nelson joins a small team of Marines to investigate paranormal problems at a top secret location in Colorado.
On their first mission together, Brigadier General Matthew Jackson and his team of three Marines are only there to supervise and keep Abby on track while she attempts to reclaim an abandoned but essential Army building from an overwhelming number of boisterous spirits who’ve taken control of it.
It sounded easy enough in the beginning, but they soon find that the job is far more dangerous and shocking than anyone ever dreamed. The fact that every day brings more discoveries about a defunct hellhole of an orphanage, old murders and new spies soon puts the team and their top-secret project in a spotlight that attracts the attention of everyone from the Colorado locals to the White House.
Though she’s practical and meticulous in the biggest project of her life, trouble seems to come at Abby from around so many corners that the Marines soon learn that they have to be on guard at every moment just to keep her out of harm’s way. And the worst of the problems come from the living, who have plenty to hide.
In spite of all this, Abby still manages to endear herself to the special unit with her cheerful and feisty personality. They give her plenty of room to do what she does best…coax the stubborn horde of spirits to finish their delayed death journeys. She knows very well what to do with clingy ghosts who just won’t leave. Most of the time, outsmarting them is the easiest way to get rid of one. Sometimes a little love or some long awaited justice works even better.
RATED …… 18 yrs+ for a little bad language and mentions of child abuse/murder. 546 pages. Always $0.99.
Each book in the Sun and Moon Archives series is a full-length, complete, stand-alone novel.
