This is my second novel after four books of non-fiction. My first novel, published last year is “It’s Too Late To Die Young Now.” This book exceeded expectations and is still selling well. My current book “Abbey” is a story about love—not a love story– but a story about love. Author Bio:
I have written and published eight books since 2007. In 2015, I decided to publish them all on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle editions. Some are also in audiobook versions, narrated by me. My first three books are memoirs and form the Mug Trilogy. Potholes and Magic Carpets is a character-led novel and Random Bullets is a contemporary thriller with a paranormal twist. I have also published a non-fiction book, Living with Postcards which can also be found on Amazon.

In February 2016, I published a baker’s dozen of my short stories called Her demonic Angel written in different genres. Hopefully there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Her demonic Angel is available in paperback and Kindle as well as an audiobook that I narrated myself. The audiobook is for sale on Amazon, Audible and also on iTunes.

In 2016, I published Kindle, paperback and audiobook editions of another contemporary thriller with a fantasy twist called The Hostile. I also intend making audiobook editions of at least a couple more of my fiction books in 2016. It appears that this year will be as busy and productive year for me as 2015 was. However, writing is a profession that I am passionate about and so it won’t feel at all like work.

I was born in Jersey in the Channel Islands, too many decades ago to mention. I went by the almost impossible to pronounce name of Joy Houiellebecq until my marriage in 1984. My profession was graphic design for twenty years after gaining a Graphic Design Degree in Coventry. I lived briefly in London before moving to Kent for over twenty years. During my time in Kent, I worked as a graphic designer and became a wife, mother and divorcee.

After developing a chronic back condition in 2012, not wishing to claim benefits I took the bold, some might say foolhardy action of selling my house in Kent and moving to the North of England in order to help fund my long-held ambition of becoming a full-time published author. I now spend most of my days, including weekends and holidays, writing, designing and publishing my books in various formats, including audiobooks.

“What Lies Between – Book One” onAmazon.com. It’s a short story about a Navajo boy (Daniel Salt) who must face terrible evil and other normal teen trials.

The story takes place in Kayeta, Az on the Navajo Rez. Daniel is a young man with an incredible spiritual / supernatural gift which he calls windwalking, but is essentially astral projection on steroids. Along with his daily teen issues in high school, romantic interests, and family troubles, Daniel must face down terrible native witches (or skinwalkers) who want nothing more than to destroy him.

I am Tamra Flournoy, and I have been writing since I was twelve years old. I am currently 27 years old (for the second time around.)

I have grown children, some of whom act even younger than I do. At last count I have 9 grandkids. At least they are shorter than me.

“Walking With the Wind” is the first in a series of stories that culminate in the final battle in the last days. The first four stories comprise the “What Lies Between” series and introduce the five young players who will figure in prominently to the larger picture.

The second set of stories will continue the saga in the “What Lies Beneath” series, with the final set of stories making up the “What Lies Above” series. So there are many more stories coming.

I currently live in central Texas with my husband. I am lucky to have most of my children and grandchildren living close by. I finally graduated from BYU just a few years ago. I also enjoy singing in our community xhoral group and heading up our community’s, “We’ve Got Talent” competition for our 4th of July Council.

I am happy to find that writing these crazy stories is a fantastic outlet for my overactive imagination. I hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

I was four when I decided I would be a writer, packed a bag, and marched down the road looking for a school. But for forty-six years, I suffered from life-gets-in-the-way-osis. Setting a goal to write just one page a day cured me in 2010. This discipline grew into an addictive habit that has since borne several novels, and dozens of short stories and novellas–many of which are published award-winners in Australia, the US and the UK.

My childhood reading diet consisted of Edgar Allen Poe, O’Henry, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents, plus horror comics like Tales From the Crypt. Anything out of this world like The Twilight Zone and Outer Limits had me glued to the television.

Inspired by these classics, I attempt to pen tales that are simply about the story and the characters and not about fancy words or beautiful descriptions. At the end of my stories I hope, wonderful reader, that you will feel you’ve enjoyed a journey into the fantastic with a neat twist at the end.

ainforest. Traveling by dugout canoe, hacking his way through the tangled jungle while fighting off millions of insects and sleeping in tents, his search went on for lost secrets of Maya technology. With the collected field data he was able to utilize digital tools, along with his creative engineering skills, to verify feats of Maya engineering and virtually reconstruct the mysteries of Maya engineering technologies.

His interest in archaeology began while playing in the Civil War trenches covering the hills near his boyhood home in Atlanta where rusted military armament and wasted shot was easily found on the battlefield sites. Returning to the United States, he worked in New York City designing landmark structures, like the Roosevelt Island Tramway, aviation projects and aerospace structures. His breakthrough revelation in Maya engineering projects was the discovery of the ruins of a Maya suspension bridge over the Usumacinta River at the ancient Maya city of Yaxchilan. This is the river that divides Mexico from Guatemala and the discovery and proof of the existence of this Maya bridge is the topic of this History Channel production. Additional investigation revealed other examples of Maya technology that are outstanding examples of engineering achievements that the Maya utilized a thousand years in advance of European technology.

His discoveries in Maya technology have been recognized in National Geographic Magazine and the monthly magazine the American Society of Civil Engineers, Civil Engineering, in addition to other scholarly publications. He has been invited to deliver numerous scientific papers dealing with his discoveries in Maya technology at international scientific and archaeological symposia.

His civil engineering education at Georgia Tech and an advanced degree from New York University gave him an excellent background for his professional career which has been devoted to bringing high-tech science to engineering.
