Author Bio:
Christy Nicholas, also known as Green Dragon, has her hands in many crafts, including digital art, beaded jewelry, writing, and photography. In real life, she’s a CPA, but having grown up with art all around her (her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother are/were all artists), it sort of infected her, as it were. She loves to draw and to create things. She says it’s more of an obsession than a hobby. She likes looking up into the sky and seeing a beautiful sunset, or seeing a fragrant blossom or a dramatic seaside. She takes a picture or creates a piece of jewelry as her way of sharing this serenity, this joy, this beauty with others. Sometimes this sharing requires explanation – and thus she writes. Combine this love of beauty with a bit of financial sense and you get an art business. She does local art and craft shows, as well as sending her art to various science fiction conventions throughout the country and abroad.

Special Levels of Earthly Hell (subtitle: The Story of One Family’s Chilling Struggle with Demonic Possession

NEW-COVER-ART-2-8-16About Special Levels of Earthly Hell (subtitle: The Story of One Family’s Chilling Struggle with Demonic Possession:

Inspired by a true story, “Special Levels of Earthly Hell” follows the desperate journey of a devoted husband as he attempts to reconcile his disbelief in a religious deity with the demonic presence that has taken possession of his wife and permeated her family.

Drew Collins experiences the world in black and white. As an educated man of science, he rejects belief in the paranormal and the existence of demons. Until an evil energy he calls “The Beast” repeatedly enters his bedroom at night and takes possession of his wife’s body.

What he witnesses at night in his own bedroom cannot be reconciled with science. And yet he sees it with his own eyes, feels its presence, ominous and evil, with his entire being.

Against every instinct, Drew reaches out for help. It is not just his marriage that’s at stake. The evil force has invaded his wife’s family, tearing them apart and culminating in bloodshed and murder. Drew must face a stark choice: sacrifice his belief that the world is a rational place and fight an entity he doesn’t understand and is reluctant to label, or abandon his wife and her family.

Author’s Note to the Reader: Sadly, the most frightening and brutal events in this book are factual. The story is loosely based on one family’s experience with multiple tragedies, some of them “ripped from the headlines.” It is also an excruciatingly factual account of one man’s experience with a loved one who is possessed by a demonic presence. However, it transcends genre and is as much a tale of romance, of cultural barriers, of abuse, and of family drama, as it is of demonic possession. The link between the introduction of an evil spirit and the heartbreaking misfortunes that are visited on the family is left for the reader to decide.

Gold by Thomas Hollyday

cover-kindle-v7-mgAbout Gold by Thomas Hollyday:

A discouraged young lawyer falls in love with an effervescent barefoot redhead. John Neale is throwing in the towel. He has followed his conscience for too long, working for pennies to support local farmers in the quiet Chesapeake town of River Sunday. With his own bills mounting, he is doing one last job before selling out to the corporate life. He just needs to finalize the will of Father Tom, a beloved priest who passed away while performing a mass.

To the town’s surprise, it seems that Father Tom had access to gold – to the tune of millions of dollars. None can figure out where the stash of precious metal was coming from, or how many millions still remained. A modern day gold rush ensues, with prospectors descending on the town from all corners of the world. John struggles to fend off the enthusiastic claims of the church as well as the scrabbling efforts of neighbors while making his own furious explorations of the brush-encrusted fishing property Father Tom maintained.

When a Native American burial mound presents evidence of a history tracing back far more than local tribes could account for, John realizes the significance of his discovery could go far beyond monetary wealth. His world enters the realm of science fiction, and he races to stay one step ahead of death in his efforts to share the truth with the world.

Part of the proceeds from the sale of Thomas Hollyday fiction and non-fiction goes to support drinking water resources for wildlife.
