Author Bio:
LB Clark currently resides on the third coast in Galveston, Texas, where she spends as much time writing as possible (when she’s not being distracted by her roommates, her friends, her day job, books, or random shiny objects). She has loved both writing and music from an early age, so combining the two seemed like the thing to do. In addition to her stories in Music Speaks, LB has published five books in the (completed) Jukebox Heroes series.
When she’s not busy with writing or work, LB’s favorite pastimes include travel and music. Much like writing and music, she has often combined her love of music with travel, usually with her best friend and co-conspirator by her side. The two have visited a wide array of places in order to attend concerts, including Natchitoches, Louisiana; Nashville; Orlando; and Albuquerque. The most interesting and insane adventure they undertook for the sake of music, however, was a road trip from Texas to California in the summer of 2011.
LB dreams of one day being able to combine her three big loves – travel, music, and writing- into a career. In the meantime, she’ll just keep weaving her travels and love of music into her writing.

Tissue of Lies by Carole Parkes
About Tissue of Lies by Carole Parkes:
Julie Simpson always suspected the dear couple who’d raised her were not her real parents. To her horror, she discovers her fears are well founded and, even worse, this couple must have taken part in her abduction when she was just a baby.
Julie longs to learn the truth, but she’s reluctant to start anything which might result in her mum and dad being prosecuted. Not really believing they did this, she longs to protect them but, ultimately, the need to know the truth wins. Seeking out her real parents ,she forms a secret relationship with them but, owing to the necessity to safeguard her mum and dad, it’s a relationship formed on lies.
Julie’s husband, John, in on the secret, fears there’s something odd about her new-found parents, particularly her birth mother Jeanette who strikes him as being insincere. Yet, how can he doubt her when mother and daughter look so alike? As the relationship deepens, John soon forgets his initial fears.
Perhaps he would have been wiser to heed his instincts, for all is not as it seems. There is something odd about Jeanette. Her devoted husband Arthur notices her changing, yet even he is totally ignorant of the conniving lengths she’s prepared to go to wreak her revenge. Surprisingly, her revenge is not meant for her daughter’s abductors. There is another, even older score that she wishes to settle.
It’s a tale of lies, deceit, greed, revenge and much more. A perfect example of when an emotional family drama can turn into a psychological thriller. You won’t be disappointed!

Author Bio:
I was born in Liverpool, England, in 1945, the same year World War 11 ended. Looking back over the seventy years I’ve lived so far, I’ve had a happy life. That doesn’t mean it’s been problem free. On the contrary, my family and I have had our problems, but we overcame them together and came out wiser and stronger. Being an optimist helps.
My husband of fifty years calls me a butterfly! I do flit from hobby to hobby, sometimes enjoying a few all in one day. Although I’ve indulged in tracing my family tree, poetry, painting, dressmaking, cross-stitch, patchwork quilts, and all types of other needlework skills, my enduring passion has been for writing.
I wrote my first story when my little boy wanted a bike for Christmas one year, and it was out of the question for us to give him one at the time. Looking at the knitted toys his grandmother always made for him, I devised a story whereby each of his knitted toys had a specific magic power. In the tale, the previously ridiculed knitted toys became more favourable to his friends than their own bikes, and they all wanted magic, knitted toys too. I ended up splitting the story up and making it into a series. I’ve never published those, but started writing regularly then. My son looked at his knitted toys with a new respect after I’d read him the stories.
‘Tissue of Lies’ is my first self published book. My second published book is co-authored with another author I met Online by chance. I’d written a short story about a murder victim and put it on my website. Doug Lafuze saw it and was inspired to write the same story from the killers angle. I liked it and suggested we write a book together based on what we’d already written. Only eight weeks later we had the first draft of our book. This was no mean feat considering Doug lives in Nebraska, USA, and I live in Lancashire, England. It took another eight months and many edits and improvements before we had our polished book, ‘Your Last Breath’. It was a wonderful experience working with another author and bouncing ideas around. I would recommend it.

Author Bio:
#1 bestseller in sea adventures, Jesse Giles Christiansen is an American author whose page-turning fiction weaves the real with the surreal, while also speaking to the human condition. He was hailed by New York Times bestselling author, William R. Forstchen, as “leaving readers so tantalized by the story lines, they think the events actually happened–a demonstration of skill surely to launch this author into the big leagues.”
Jesse was born in Miami, FL, playing on beaches as a boy, the sky bronzing him forever and the sea turning his heart lyrical. After spending a summer in Alaska before graduating from Florida State University with a degree in literature and philosophy, he wrote his first novel, Journey into the Mystic.
He feels he is haunted by Hemingway’s ghost, not just by the poster in his writing studio that stares at him, saying, “What else you got?” but also by having a café called Hemingway’s in the small European city where he writes. Finally, Hemingway became his neighbor on Amazon when his novel, Pelican Bay, outsold Old Man and the Sea.
He currently lives in Lüneburg, Germany, with his wife and their precocious White Siamese cat.
