After a life time of writing poetry, books, nonfiction, and legal documents, it was author Ray Bradbury’s friendship and encouragement that finally inspired Dale E. Manolakas to pursue writing as a career. He taught her that the characters wrote the book–she didn’t. Raised just outside Los Angeles by a surgeon father and a homemaker-author mother, Dale E. Manolakas had always aspired to an acting career, but also had to make a living.
Dale E. Manolakas earned her B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles, and M.A., M.S., Ph.D. and J.D. degrees from the University of Southern California. She is a member of the California Bar, had the privilege of clerking for The Honorable Arthur L. Alarcón at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, was a litigator in two major Los Angeles law firms, and a senior appellate attorney at the California Court of Appeals, as well as an Administrative Law Judge.
Before that she was a teacher, primarily at the high school, adult school, and university levels, and holds a public administrative services credential. In addition, she has pursued her passion for acting, primarily on the stage, but also in film and television. She is a member of both Actors’ Equity and SAG-AFTRA. She also has raised three very independent daughters and lives with her husband, a retired attorney, in an otherwise animal-free environment in California.

Night of the Fae (Ana Martin Series # 1)
About Night of the Fae (Ana Martin Series # 1):
Intl. Multiple Award Winning, Bestselling Novel
“I love you,” he murmured as the wisps of light returned to his body.
What he didn’t say was that his love came with a heavy price and life was never going to be the same again.
Twenty-six-year-old Ana Martin has a past she is trying to forget. When she meets Gabriel, she believes that she can finally leave her troubles behind her. But Gabriel has a secret…
He may look human and be born of this world, but he is Siis – a race who evolved millions of years ago to a transcendent state, who now take solid form to hide among us.
When the homeless start dying at an abandoned Tannery, the police chalk it up to suicides. Ana knows different. The Siis have a secret, a past mistake they would rather forget, one that puts Ana in more danger than she can ever comprehend.
Before long, she becomes a target for the Fae, once innocent children changed by the Siis thousands of years before. They are able to intensify and feed off the negative emotions of their prey, and are filled with malicious intent that has no bounds.
Can Ana survive the world of the Siis? More importantly, can she do it with her mind still intact?

Author Bio:
My name is Lyneal Jenkins and I am the International Award Winning author of the Ana Martin series.
The Ana Martin Series began in 2011, born from my desire to read about creatures other than Vampires and Zombies. Before that day, I would never have believed that I could write a full novel, let alone a series, but Ana and the Siis gripped hold of my soul and they haven’t let go since.
I spend my days looking after our seven amazing children and my crazy Springer Spaniel, who spends most of his time chasing chinks of light—real or imagined. I write at every available opportunity, regardless of the noise levels in our tiny three-bedroom house. As a chaotic environment can distract even the best of us, my partner recently surprised me with a small vintage caravan (where I keep my secret stash of chocolate from the children). It has become my private haven, allowing me to escape into Ana’s world in relative peace.
Even Bipolar Depression can’t keep me from writing. I have long learnt to use it to my advantage, drawing on my extreme emotions in order to experience my characters on different levels, from their bleakest lows to their most jubilant highs. So many times I have written a scene with tears streaming down my face, or with my hands shaking in anger or fear. My condition enables me to create richer, more realistic characters.
With any project I undertake, I strive for excellence, and live by the philosophy that a problem is merely a challenge to overcome. To date, the Ana Martin Series has received multiple awards in Fantasy and Cross-genre, and all four books have been awarded the exclusive Five Star seal from Readers’ Favorite. Night of the Fae was also considered to be scripted for motion picture. Due to this, Cent Magazine approached me to write an article about using humour in writing to portray serious issues. The amount of support the series has generated has been overwhelming and continues to amaze me every day.
I have recently set up my web page (which involved a fair amount of cursing as I learnt the technological side of it), and can now be contacted there. I love hearing off fans, whether it’s a quick note to say hi or their comments on my work, and I always strive to respond. So don’t be shy – drop me a line.

Radio Rose by Stephanie Berget
About Radio Rose by Stephanie Berget:
Radio Rose knows Martians aren’t real.
As a DJ for a late night talk show about aliens, she’d never admit to being a non-believer. Talking to crazies all night isn’t the perfect job for most people, but she’s happy with her solitary life. Until a middle of the night car crash and a blow to the head has her mistaking a stranger for a real life extra-terrestrial.
Adam Cameron, raised by his narcissistic grandfather for most of his childhood, made his escape from Careless, Colorado the day he turned eighteen. Forced to return ten years later for the reading of his grandfather’s will, he’s about to be pulled into a contest for a vast fortune and the future of a town he’d just as soon forget.
Relationships aren’t one of Rose’s strong points. Hell, she mistook the hot stranger for an alien the first time they met, but Adam needs help and she’s the woman to help him–maybe.

Author Bio:
A child of the sixties, I played my guitar and sang folksongs in the streets of San Francisco, before becoming a graphic artist.
Along the way, I married my number one fan, had two kids and lived in Alaska until the economy collapsed, and we had to make a new plan. I said the new plan had to include “no snow”, so that brought us to the sunny central coast of California.
In 1988, we opened Klondike Pizza in the quaint village of Arroyo Grande, and a few years later, a second location In Santa Maria. Both restaurants are still going strong with lines out the door. Yay!
Through the years, I wrote funny radio commercials, and a YA mystery. One day I got a call from a friend in the movie industry asking if I’d ever considered writing a screenplay. Nope. I’ve always liked a challenge, so I commuted to screenwriting classes in LA, got a writing mentor from UCLA Film School and when I was ready, wrote a screenplay: Reality Check. A family comedy.
It was a two-year process, and when I finished, my friend had left the industry! Eventually, my screenplay got read at another major studio. They liked it; I was hopeful, and…the economy collapsed.
A few years later, while nursing my husband through a tough cancer battle, I realized I had to follow my bliss, and start writing again. This time, a murder mystery series with a twist of humor.
The first book in the Murder Blog Mysteries, “Dead Girls Don’t Blog”, was published in April 2014. “Better Dead Than Wed” will be available in late summer 2015. And “Dying For Dollars” will be released in 2016.

David Kersten was born in Minnesota but spent most of his life in Montana. An IT Manager for his family’s business, David enjoys just about anything having to do with technology. He also enjoys creating things, whether it involves writing fiction, writing software, woodworking, carpentry, or electronics. As an avid reader since the age of 11, one of his long term goals was to try his hand at writing, and as with everything, when he dove into it, he submerged himself for many months. Although he enjoys many different fiction genres, his first novel, “The Freezer”, is set in his favorite genre, Post-Apocalyptic Fiction, and is a proud accomplishment for him. When David isn’t writing or working in his shop, he can be found spending time with his 3 children, sitting at a computer playing games, enjoying a good television show or movie, or out with friends at the bowling alley or favorite bar. He intends to continue writing novels and is currently finishing the sequel to his first book, which he hopes to publish by October ’15.

I have written for more years than I can count, but only started publishing my work as an Indie author in the Spring of 2014. My favorite genre to write is contemporary romance featuring current societal issues such as foster care, child abuse, drunk drivers, domestic violence etc. and heroines/heroes that overcome the odds to not only survive but thrive. Additionally in 2015 I have published my first full-length novel in the science fiction/mystery mixed genre titled THE CURE, and followed it up with a psychic thriller entitled DISCORD. I enjoy stretching my skills by penning stories that don’t fit in a single style or genre and help me grow as an author.
When not working at Oklahoma State University as a Program Coordinator or writing I enjoy working out, keeping up with my two biological college kids activities, and keeping pace with my elementary aged foster children. As a family we enjoy traveling, a myriad of sports, binge watching our favorite shows and entertaining the never ending stream of visitors and relatives to our home.
