Brother, Frankenstein by Michael Bunker
About Brother, Frankenstein by Michael Bunker:
99¢ Through Jun 14 (Reg. $4.99)
Amish Cyberpunk as only Michael Bunker can write it!
Dr. Chris Alexander, a borderline sociopath and technological genius, has designed an advanced cybernetic life form from prototype decommissioned military drones and top-secret experimental DARPA technology. The HADroid was supposed to be a military grade robot with the transplanted heart and brain of a human donor that would “transform” into a devastating state of the art war machine when activated by its onboard human operator. But when the mad doctor steals the dying child of a simple Amish couple and transplants the brain and cardiovascular system of their dying eleven year old autistic son into the incredibly lethal robot the dark forces of government come looking for their investment.
Dr. Alexander and the monster escape into another Amish community to hide among the plain folk while Frank, the autistic eleven year old boy trapped inside the body of the world’s most deadly robot, befriends another child who will help the prisoner inside the machine to leave the world of autism and understand what it means to be human and Amish.
But tensions arise among the plain and pacifistic yet closed-minded Amish as they begin to suspect just what kind of technological monstrosity is hiding among them, and before long hard men who do the government’s most dirty deeds will come looking for a killing machine only to find a boy named Frank who has the power to defend a closed society from the worst of the world.

Michael Bunker is a USA Today Bestselling author, off-gridder, husband, and father of four children. He lives with his family in a “plain” community in Central Texas, where he reads and writes books…and occasionally tilts at windmills.
Michael is widely considered the “father” of the Amish/Scifi genre but that isn’t all that he writes. He is the author of several popular and acclaimed works of dystopian sci-fi, including the Amazon Top 20 bestselling Amish Sci-fi thriller the Pennsylvania Omnibus, the groundbreaking dystopian vision Hugh Howey called “a brilliant tale of extra-planetary colonization.” He also has written the epic post-apocalyptic WICK series, The Silo Archipelago (set in Hugh Howey’s World of WOOL,) as well as many nonfiction works, including the non-fiction Amazon overall top 30 bestseller Surviving Off Off-Grid.

The Outsiders
THE OUTSIDERS is a Suspense Thriller / Horror featuring the gated community of Priory, with its cult leader Charles Erich and his followers, including those who want to overthrow him, and those who’ll do anything for him. Is that which they worship the true evil, or does evil reside in them?
Inside Priory awaits a lot more than meets the eye. The people might seem friendly, but only because their enigmatic leader Charles Erich accepts nothing less.
The cottages within this gated community seem simple enough, and even though what lurks beneath them is more ancient than mankind itself, can anything be more evil than the people worshipping it?
If you dare follow this UK invasion of five prime authors as they each tell their own story of the people living behind Priory’s steel gates and high walls, you’ll quickly find yourself an outsider, as well.
Featuring stories by Stephen Bacon, James Everington, Gary Fry, V.H. Leslie, and Rosanne Rabinowitz. Introduction by Kevin Lucia.
The Priory. A community of one mind and purpose. A place of order, commitment, peace, and service. A perfect world, building on mind shattering secrets from beyond the pale. Enter…if you dare.

More information on the author can be found at www.vhleslie.wordpress.com
Stephen Bacon’s fiction has been published in Cemetery Dance, Black Static, Shadows & Tall Trees, Crimewave, Terror Tales of Yorkshire, Murmurations, and has been selected for Best Horror of the Year. He had stories in Fear the Reaper and For the Night Is Dark, both from Crystal Lake Publishing. His debut collection, Peel Back the Sky was published by Gray Friar Press.
James Everington mainly writes dark, supernatural fiction, although he occasionally takes a break and writes dark, non-supernatural fiction. His second collection of such tales, Falling Over, is out now from Infinity Plus. A monthly serial, The Quarantined City, is being released during 2015 from Spectral Press and he has stories forthcoming from Supernatural Tales, Fox Spirit, and Knightwatch Press.
He has a black cat and cream carpets, which shows how much thought he puts into those parts of his life that aren’t book-related.
Oh and he drinks Guinness, if anyone’s asking. You can find out what James is currently up to at his Scattershot Writing site.
Gary Fry lives in Dracula’s Whitby, literally around the corner from where Bram Stoker was staying while thinking about that legendary character. Gary has a PhD in psychology, but his first love is literature. He was the first author in PS Publishing’s Showcase series, and none other than Ramsey Campbell has described him as “a master.” He is the author of more than 100 published short stories and 15 books, including novels, novellas and collections. His latest are the Lovecraftian novel Conjure House (DarkFuse, 2013); the short story collection Shades of Nothingness (PS Publishing, 2013); the original zombie novel Severed, and novellas Menace, Savage and Mutator (DarkFuse, 2014). Gary warmly welcomes all to his web presence: www.gary-fry.com
Rosanne Rabinowitz got hooked on writing when she helped produce ’zines in the 1990s such as Feminaxe and Bad Attitude, contributing articles, reviews and interviews. Then she began to make stuff up… Her fiction has since found its way to journals like Postscripts and Black Static and her novella, Helen’s Story, has received a Shirley Jackson Award nomination for achievement in the ‘literature of the dark fantastic.’
Other work in print includes contributions to Never Again: Weird Fiction Against Racism and Fascism and another novella in the award-winning anthology Extended Play: the Elastic Book of Music, plus recent entries in Horror Uncut and Jews vs Aliens. Future releases include stories in Tales from the Vatican Vaults and Soliliquy for Pan. She occasionally writes non-fiction for union, community and campaign websites.
Rosanne lives in South London, so it’s no surprise that her contribution to the anthology Horror Without Victims is titled “Lambeth North.” She is a graduate of the Sheffield Hallam University MA in Writing.

The Wizard and the Wood (Field, Forest, and Fairies)
About The Wizard and the Wood (Field, Forest, and Fairies):
“I’m dying.” Only a special kind of wizard could hear the cry that was carried by the whispery winds. Only a special kind of wizard could answer it.
He followed the cry to the Wide Wild Wood, a place that should have been filled with magic and wonder. But the dryad, the guardian of the Wide Wild Wood, was gone. Without its Guardian, The Wood had sunk into sadness. Its waters sat dark and stagnate, its creatures hid, its plants grew unhealthy. Not even a very special wizard could dispel the sadness by himself. But if the wildfolk came to his aid, he might just have a chance.

Becca Price lives in a small town in Southeastern Michigan with her husband, 2 children, and 3 cats on 10 acres of weeds, swamp, and trees. She started writing fairy tales when her children were young, because she didn’t like a lot of the books that were available at that time. Since she was a technical writer then, it was second nature to write down the stories. The stories stayed on her computer for quite awhile, shared only with a few friends, until the self-publishing revolution at Amazon hit. She published her first collection, Dragons and Dreams just for the heck of it, not expecting anything to come of it. A fan wrote her about one of the stories in that collection, and the second collection, Fairies and Fireflies, was born. After that, the stories just kept coming.

I’ve been publishing New Adult romance novels for a little over a year, starting with Broken at Love and continuing with the rest of the Whitman University series. I adore telling stories, discovering the little reasons people fall in love, and uncovering hidden truths in the world around us – past and present.
In my spare time I cuddle my two dogs, pretend to enjoy exercising so that I can eat as much Chipotle as I want, and harbor a deep and abiding hope that Zac Efron likes older women. I loves reading, of course, along with movies, traveling, and Irish whiskey.
I’m hard at work, ALWAYS, and hope to bring you more Whitman University antics and at least one more Lowcountry ghost tale before the end of the year.

Last Light Falling – The Covenant by J.E. Plemons
About Last Light Falling – The Covenant by J.E. Plemons:
If your fate has already been chosen for you, would you change it? Fifteen-year-old Arena Power blindly accepts her destiny in a world filled with tragedy, chaos, and a lingering wickedness that will tempt every man’s soul until the last days on Earth. Set in the United States in the year 2053, America, like most of the world, has undergone catastrophic earthquakes, famine, and an economic collapse, which has rendered the nation hopeless. It has turned to other nations, like Russia and China, to help restore what was once a world power. Unfortunately, the new America has grossly caused civil unrest that will eventually be the precursor to a much bigger war of biblical proportions.
Orphaned at the age of nine, Arena and her twin brother, Gabe, have learned to rely on each other through the toughest times. Not only do they share the same birthday and the tragic loss of their parents, they both have a birthmark on the back of their necks in the shape of a crucifix. This is only but a small sign of the destiny that will follow. On their fifteenth birthday, they receive a mystery letter and key from their estranged Uncle Finnegan. This key will unlock their fate, and it will be up to a priest, who has vowed to protect them since birth, to unfold the layers of their destiny—to undo the evil that has spoiled the world, and to help unleash God’s wrath upon those who have turned from Him in the last days of history.
Last Light Falling weaves righteousness with evil, treachery with truth, and shows just how far the will of man can survive on faith alone. Arena and Gabriel’s fate will determine that course of history for which has already been written. They were not born to save the world; they were chosen to prepare it for the final days.

Jay Plemons’ life is nothing short of ordinary. From an aspiring chef, carpenter, educator, musician, husband, and father, nothing ever seems too busy when adding yet another hat into the mix as a fiction novelist. With a degree in music business, and a minor in English from Middle Tennessee State University, the aspirations to continue his journey in the arts, has followed Jay to write the Last Light Falling series, which has not only touched on some of his personal experiences, but has also helped him further explore the heightened convictions of faith. Though his first love is music, writing has profoundly changed the way he expresses himself to others, which has recently impacted his son to follow in those same emotional footsteps. When Jay isn’t drumming, writing is his cure to life’s distractions.
Jay’s only philosophy is to enjoy whatever time you can whenever you can, with whoever you can, because the uncertainties that tomorrow may bring will have a profound impact on how you give your time today. If we could all just stop for a moment and enjoy the little things in life that make the big things worthwhile, our troubles would all seem inconsequential.

Robyn Rychards grew up in the granola bowl of the United States, Boulder Colorado, a town filled with fruits, flakes and nuts. She considers herself a Jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none and has taught herself to sew, paint, play the piano, garden, cook, the list goes on. But now that her books are published, she’s thrilled to finally be considered a master of one. At least as much as a person can be, for the learning never really stops.
She feels her active imagination is a blessing and a curse, with the blessing far outweighing the curse since it has led her to fulfill her dream of writing romance stories for Harlequin. Robyn started writing stories when she was a teenager because she didn’t have enough books to read and sometimes finds it hard to believe that people are willing to pay her to do something she enjoys so much. Then there’s the added bonus of having a good reason to put off cooking and cleaning, much less a job that means you can stay in your jammies as long as you want. That’s priceless.
She loves to hear from her readers at robynrychards@yahoo.com

Enter the Realm of Flesh by A.N. Sinner
About Enter the Realm of Flesh by A.N. Sinner:

Michael Phoenix is just your ordinary misfit teenager. He lives in a New England small town, his father ran off a year ago, and he falls asleep in school every now and then. However, one night, Michael accidentally opens a portal to another world, and an alien creature invades his home. Hi. I would like to take you to strange places–sorry, let me try again.
I would like to scare and entertain you. And while I’m at it, I would also like to give a voice to others like me. Introverts, outcasts, lunatics. Those who refuse to conform or are unable to conform. Why are we like that? What place is there for us? I would like to try answering those questions.
And hey, if I screw up at that, at least there’s a kick-ass book with thrills and action and monsters. On a simpler level, I want to create something that sticks with you–characters, moments, stories. Well-constructed stories that may subvert your expectations at times. Because storytelling is an art that demands perfection.
Simply put, I want to write, and I want to entertain you.
Longtime outcast and aspiring writer. Born 1993, currently living in Germany. Been writing on and off again since 2010. Completed one “book” since then, made a couple other attempts. Wrote short stories on Deviantart for a while, nobody gave a shit. Enter the Realm of Flesh is the first thing I’m proud of.
Also, a silent rebel who somehow snuck his way into college. Spends more time in front of a PC screen than is reasonable. Pop culture geek, movie buff, gamer, etc. Books are also cool.
