An SS soldier ran over, hobnailed boots loud on the street and brought the butt of his rifle down once, twice… into the lifeless body. Adelina breathed in a full breath of air, a breath without pain, and pulled the fingers from her wrist. She turned to the SS soldier and said, “Danke. Diese Partisanen sind ermüdend. (Thank you. These partisans are tiresome.)”

As the words left her lips, a voice in the back of her mind screamed out, the same scream Adelina had heard a moment ago. Adelina did what she had done before; she took control. The voice faded to an annoying buzz. Adelina thought, “I’m free! Free!” She wanted to shout, to dance.

The soldier reached down and offered his hand. She took it and stood slowly, her knees weak. The amount of respect the soldier showed her meant that she must be a person of some importance. Looking at her shoulder, she saw the rank insignia of Detektiv Inspektorin, Weibliche Kriminalpolizei’ (Detective Inspector, Women’s Criminal Investigation Division). Adelina thought, “A police woman, I can work with that.”

This is a futuristic tale of how law enforcement opperates in a darker society. It tells of how bounty hunters are at the top of the food chain, and what methods they use to capture the more elite criminals.
The bio-genetics giant Dyna-Techor created the perfect humanoids that killed their creator scientist, and escaped. The corporaion wanted their prodigal experiments back for further research, and to stop them from causing deadly havok in society. They hired the Hunters Guild to execute the task.
Drakx Slazakohn was the most experienced, deadliest Hunter of the Guild. He only took dead or alive contracts with the same terminal result. He was sent after what Dyna-Techor called the DNAccidens. There were seven; six males, and one female.
He killed all six males, and since he did what he had awlays done, the female had to be brought in alive. Grumbling, he had to finish his contracts.
Sensus, the only woman, was more enhanced than the men, and Drakx found out about her deadly attributes when she killed him six times to bring back the men, and one final time for her satisfaction.
After that heinous action, he was brought back once more by a higher power to retrieve the escaped essences of the men to “restore balance”. Along wth a fugative DNAccomplishment female, Kimi, he had to become the mystical bounty hunter to eradicate the DAccidents once agaih. His big problem was they knew he was coming this time. Can he do it?

Kyle Robertson was born January 1st, 1970. He was an only child that was born in Louiana. When he was 3, his family moved th Wisconsib, He grew up in the frigid land of the Great Lakes, and learned about northern values.
He went to school, graduated in 1988, and went to the military. After his stint in the Army, he came back to the United States to become a salesman.
He worked in sales for 21 years before a medical episode that ended his work carrer. He began to write to ward off depression. He’s been telling exciting tales ever since.

Brynette Turner writes contemporary romances and African American romances, and has recently written two novels in a paranormal (psychic) romantic suspense series.
