Fixing Freddit
Free on Amazon, B&N, iTunes, Kobo & Scribd.
Samantha hasn’t seen Freddie since they were in school and that was…what?…ten years ago? Back then he was painfully shy and was rarely seen without a computer game in his hand. When he shows up in her favourite downtown Vancouver coffee shop she doesn’t recognize him at first. He’s still into computer games, and to make matters worse, his hair is long and his sense of style sucks. He’s nothing like Samantha’s suave, sexy boyfriend. They’ve been invited to the same wedding, and when he bemoans his lack of style, she surprises herself by offering to help him with a make-over. But Freddie isn’t the only one in need of help. While Samantha works on Freddie’s outer appearance, he helps her discover an inner strength she didn’t know she had. Join Samantha and Freddie as they navigate the minefield of their growing attraction on the way to finding out who they really are. This mini novel runs just under 26,000 words – a delightful afternoon read. Sensuality Level: Sweet Romance, but with some coarse language.

Edge of the World by Zeecé Lugo
About Edge of the World by Zeecé Lugo:
Ten years before William Evers came to Daniel’s Fork, he was a different man. In this short story, we find him at the wilderness of the eastern lands of North America, battling ‘wilders’ and fighting his way out of the bleak emotional landscape that a devastating loss has left in his heart. We meet his beloved companions, Gabby and Jonas, young warriors following blindly where William leads, driven only by their unconditional love and loyalty. And finally, we see the entire family come together as they will be years later in Daniel’s Fork.
Be warned: the story does contain strong sexual content not suitable to younger readers and those adults who object to such content. It is approx. 27 pages long. It may be easily read in one hour. If you have read Daniel’s Fork, the characters will be familiar. This story, however, stands alone, and is a great introduction to the Daniel’s Fork series and a way to try the author’s style at no cost to you. The main focus of the story is the companions, especially Gabby. A truer picture of the seemingly vapid beauty emerges which shows she is anything but trivial. The relationship between the companions takes on its defining form, that of a tightly bound group with few personal boundaries.

Author Bio:
Zeecé Lugo was born in Puerto Rico, grew up in Brooklyn, and lived in many places. She spent seven years in the U.S. Air force, taught for many years in Miami, and even spent a year working for the IRS.
Her early love was reading. The worlds of Pern, Middle-earth, St. Mary Mead, and Shrewsbury Abbey had an incredible influence and hold on her imagination.
She wrote her first novel, Daniel’s Fork, in two months, spending long hours at her task. During that time, she ensconced herself in her bedroom with her computer, barely coming out to grab a cup of coffee or a snack. One day, her nearest neighbor came desperately knocking at her bedroom window, afraid that Zeecé might be dead; no one had seen her for days!
Daniel’s Fork was meant to be the first book in a romantic trilogy. Little did Zeecé know that stories have a way of going where they want to go. Daniel’s Fork turned out to be a journey to the future past! It is a sexy mystery set in the future, giving birth to a fictional universe: the Daniel’s Fork universe.

A Trillion Dollar Man by Angus Kennedy
About A Trillion Dollar Man by Angus Kennedy:
A BLISTERING NEW ACTION ADVENTURE STORY
YOUR BEST FRIEND IS DEAD ON HIS LIVING ROOM FLOOR
Suddenly you’re jerked into a scene right out an intense action thriller book. You’d planned a transpacific adventure with him and other close friends on your huge historical sailboat. You’re locked into a nightmare like an FBI thriller, a CIA black ops story and a detective crime book all in one.
WHAT IF YOU WERE THE FIRST PERSON TO BREAK THE TRILLIONAIRE BARRIER
You’ve seen clearly that billionaires are as tedious as any other financial group. Bored with making money and the lammo rich and famous; you retired to your Texas ranch; you re-channeled your energy into raising outstanding Quarter Horses.
YOU ARE A FORCE RECON MARINE, RETIRED
You are a lethal engine designed not just for combat, but intense mental reconnaissance while fighting.
A BRAND NEW ACTION ADVENTURE SERIES COMES ON LIKE A THERMONUCLEAR REACTION
With huge thrust the Trillion Dollar man explodes. Don’t kill anyone’s best friend and for sure, not a Force Reconnaissance Marine’s.
YOUR BEST FRIEND’S STATELY HOME LOOKS LIKE A WARZONE
Your heavy duty, Marine Corps, battle damage assessment drills, remote sensors location exercises and your initial terminal guidance training all kick in at once.
A disgusting detective crime scene right out of an ordinary suspense laden mystery book is in your face. But at the same time, it’s more much bigger, like an action adventure book; it’s instantly obvious that something more sinister than ordinary cops stuff, than mystery crime stories is going on, something big and weird right out of a series of huge, black op action thrillers is at play.
The destruction is like one sees in war novels, like American Sniper―like the weapons one finds in Special Forces fiction. Some big, sinister group is on your back, something like the government conspiracy against Jason in The Bourne Identity, like heavy government surveillance novels, like CIA fiction, like all of it: FBI thriller, CIA black ops, and a detective crime book in the same instant.
YOU KNOW INSTANTLY THAT YOU WILL FIND THE UNFRIENDLIES
Because of your training for deadly force encounters, you engage instantly. “The United States Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance detachments, or FORECON, operate in deep reconnaissance, direct action, and the control of supporting arms; to convey military intelligence beyond the means of a commander’s area of influence in the battlefield . . . .”
Wikipedia
YOU ARE A VERY HEALTHY VET LIKE CHRIS KYLE IN CLINT EASTWOOD’S MOVIE, AMERICAN SNIPER
When you retired from the Marines, you never stopped long enough for Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome to rule your life. On returning to civilian life you saw clearly―from combat shocking you into an eyes-wide-open view of life―that the Uber-Rich own everything. That you needed money to have a wife and kids and put your training straight to work in the money markets.
WHAT IF ALL THAT FORCE RECON TRAINING HAD GIVEN YOU CLARITY
They operate at such great distances that they are beyond the boundaries, or fan, of any artillery and/or naval gunfire support (NGFS); unlike their Division Recon brethren, whose operations are primarily within the artillery and gunfire support fan. Silence and stealth are vital . . . .”
Wikipedia
A brand new, 21st Century Thriller Series is launched. This first novel, A Trillion Dollar Man, explodes off the page: like American Sniper, a U.S. Government trained killer comes home and starts doing good rather than collapsing in PTS.
A new type of hero goes after the killers who are poaching large mammals globally. Not only harvesting parts off the proud elephants and rhinos in Africa, but also slaughtering and harvesting paws and organs from Smokey the Bear right here in U.S. National Parks.
But they make a big mistake when they leave the Trillion Dollar Man’s best friend sprawled on his living room floor.
With his sizzling new thriller suspense novel, A Trillion Dollar Man, Angus Kennedy has rolled out THE TRILLION DOLLAR MAN SERIES. This action series is written unmistakably for the 21st Century format, like The Bourne Identity and Chris Kyle in American Sniper. Angus Kennedy is published in New York with a major house as a non-fiction author and has his literary fiction with Amazon under the pen names Terry Kennedy & T.D. Kennedy. His goal is always to give the reader solid, feet-on-ground writing that really fulfills the book buyer’s quest: a great fiction action adventure
The 1st Trillionaire on Earth, Billy Clayton A Trillion Dollar Man is a collector’s first edition. A black sheep, Connecticut heiress, Jenny Warren is a Shaolin Priestess. Slade’s problem is that the 1st trillionaire is retired Marine Force Recon and Jenny Warren is a Shaolin Priestess with the tiger and dragon branded inside her forearms. The Sugar Men by Ray Kingfisher
About The Sugar Men by Ray Kingfisher:
A Story of Holocaust Echoes.
Susannah Morgan has been settled in sleepy North Carolina for almost sixty-five years, but is still haunted by memories of her escape from the holocaust as a child.
For most of her life the flashbacks have been a lonely obsession – one she has managed to hide from her children.
But as her life draws to a close her memories start asking questions, and the only way she can find answers is to return to the scene of the unspeakable crime.
Against the wishes of her children she flies back to Germany to find her truth. What she discovers there explains so much about who she is, who her children are, and how the wretched legacy of the holocaust is wide and deep and persistent.
The Sugar Men is the novel based on the prize-winning No.1 short story: The Lucky One.

Ray Kingfisher cut his writing teeth with many prize-winning short stories, the best of which are contained in ‘Tales of Loss and Guilt’, sixteen stories ranging from thrillers to comedies to dramas. Two of these, ‘Guilt’s Beady Eye’ and ‘The Lucky One’, are available as standalone short stories, which are usually free.
The novels Ray has gone on to write are also wide-ranging in genre.
His debut novel was ‘Matchbox Memories’, a bittersweet comedy drama dealing with Alzheimer’s, estranged families and long hidden secrets.
(That’s right – a comedy about Alzheimer’s disease.)
He followed this up with ‘Slow Burning Lies’, a dark and twisting psychological thriller about a man haunted by nightmares.
His third novel, ‘Easy Money’, was a ribald comic farce about a man who stumbles upon half a million pounds in used notes.
His most recent two novels are both themed around the Holocaust and its long-lasting effects.
‘The Sugar Men’, is about an elderly woman who survived Bergen-Belsen as a child, and traces her as she revisits the scene later in life in an attempt to come to terms with her memories. It’s essentially a novel based on the short story ‘The Lucky One’.
‘Rosa’s Gold’ concerns a troubled young girl who stumbles upon the war memoirs of an old man who survived Auschwitz, and examines the effect his words have on her own life.
Ray hopes to write more thrillers and a third Holocaust novel in the future, but his next two novels will both be comedies which break new ground in radical silliness. Hopefully both will be released in 2015.
Ray lives in Hampshire, UK, and welcomes any feedback (positive or negative) his readers might wish to leave at: raykingfisher@gmail.com

“A new way of reading”
Novel short stories are a collection of quirky, clean, strange stories from another time. Back when violence and sex weren’t thrust into our minds without concern about how it manifests in our daily lives. My stories do not utilize “I, me, names and the intent is never to reveal myself as the narrator”. Let it be said that Nss; packs more into one hundred words than most novels do. (100 words; check it!)
In the times where things are all about speed; I this style allows for entertainment on short-order. Yes! Violence, sex and destruction are what sell but, I this is “Old School” This book is meant to enrich, not stimulate.
Hospitality and beverage management was my life long career. I retired due to mental illness which in my case is bi-polar with major depression (MDD). My writing is my triumph of the soul. I will write a collection of volumes which I suppose fall under the heading of “boutique books”. Being challenged with mental illness has guided my writing; in some ways enhancing it, if that’s possible.

Author Bio:
Da Kat is a native from Long Island, New York. He has resided in California for over thirty five years. To his great surprise, he was diagnosed bi-polar at the age of fifty. Being mentally challenged is what colors his life. Volume two,(soon to be released ) is titled NNT(non neuro-typical), which basically looks at life from a slight tilt. Mental illness is like any other illness; you learn how to live with it.
The hospitality (bar business) industry was Da’s choice of careers. To be attentive to others needs comes naturally and allowed Da Kat to socialize with other people. Maybe, Novel Short Stories will allow the reader to see and feel the commonalities of life from a bi-polar, major depressive disorder (MDD) walk of life.
Da Kat is a pen-name for a writer given with the birth-name David Katz. If you eliminate ‘vid’ from David and ditch the ‘Z’ in Katz, well the rest is history.
The rules which govern the stories are: the words ‘I’ and ‘me’ will never be used. The second rule is the stories must be of substance and significance. Consider each story as a child’s coloring book for your imagination. You are allowed to fill in the colors as you wish.
The essence of the stories is what drives the author. The stories represent persistence, perseverance and patience. Each story is a triumph and the author wishes to offer the world something new, refreshing and positive.
