Freedom Vs. Aliens
Jack Munroe’s anti-Alien crusade runs into a roadblock. The Unity rulers of Earth attack his Asteroid Belt home. They aim to ally with the predatory Hunters of the Great Dark. But Jack is not about to let Earth be run by Alien predators who treat subject peoples as serfs and living meals. He attacks Unity space bases on Earth, destroys the Unity headquarters in Switzerland and encourages America and other nations to reclaim their independence. Jack then leads a fleet of powerful starships out to the stars to make a Freedom Alliance with subject Aliens. That requires finding common ground for Humans, the Melagun hippos and the ChikHo ostriches. Which he vows to do. Jack is determined to subvert a galactic system that says only carnivore predators can travel star-to-star! This 89,000 word combat SciFi tale continues the story of Jack Munroe, the leader of an anti-Alien crusade that aims to teach the protein-hungry predator Aliens that Humans are the galaxy’s Top Predator! But first they have to fight off an attack on his Asteroid home by the Unity world government. Then they make humanity’s second interstellar trip, with the aim of setting free subject peoples who are munched on by the Hunters of the Great Dark. Jack’s second trip through the stars is also an effort to establish a Freedom Alliance for all species. The story is evolutionary biology writ big on the cosmic scale, as Jack leads his Asteroid Belt buddies and Mars allies in a fight that shouts Humans are the apex predator of the stars!

Author Bio:
T. Jackson King (Tom) is a professional archaeologist and journalist. He writes hard science fiction, anthropological SciFi, dark fantasy/horror and contemporary fantasy/magic realism–but that didn’t happen until he was 38.
Before then, college years spent in Paris and in Tokyo led Tom into antiwar activism, hanging out with some Japanese hippies and learning how often governments lie to their citizens. The latter lesson led him and a college buddy to publish the Shinjuku Sutra English language underground tabloid in Japan in 1967. That was followed by helping shut down the University of Tennessee at Knoxville campus in 1968 and a bus trip to Washington D.C. for the Second March on Washington where thousands demanded an end to the Vietnam War.
Temporary sanity returned when Tom worked in a radiocarbon lab at UC Riverside and earned an MA degree in Archaeology from UCLA. His interests in ancient history, ancient cultures and journalism got him several government agency jobs that paid the bills, led him to roam the raw landscape of the Western United States, and helped him and his wife Leslee raise three kids.
A funny thing happened on the way to normality. By the time he was 38 and doing federal arky work in Colorado, Tom’s first novel STAR TRADERS was a stage play in his head that wouldn’t go away. So he wrote it down. It got rejected. His next novel was published as RETREAD SHOP (Warner Books, 1988). It was off to the writing races and Tom’s many voyages of imaginative discovery have led to 15 published novels, a book of poetry, and a conviction that when Humans reach the stars, we will find them crowded with space-going Aliens. We will be the New Kids On The Block! This theme appears in much of Tom’s short fiction and novel writing. That writing has earned Amazon Bestseller status for most of Tom’s SciFi novels.
Tom lives in Los Alamos, New Mexico, USA and hangs with a group of smart and tolerant Westerners. Divorce has taught him to smile a lot and to work at being a Nice Guy. Still, he is pretty weird. Has been since fourth grade when he began reading SciFi. Since then, he and Authority have rarely been in agreement.

The Re-Org by Bryan Lyng
About The Re-Org by Bryan Lyng
It is a time of great fear and crapped-in panties.
From the wretched grunt-worker cubicles, to the panic-stricken bunkers of middle management – to the spectacular mobile hot tubs of senior leadership – comes a sense of approaching doom. And not just any old doom. But a doom so awful, so enormous – and so ball-up-into-a-fetal-position frightening…
That none dare speak it by name.
But it is a doom which comes a-calling nevertheless. Plunging them all into a winner-take-all showdown against an all-powerful force they cannot seem to overcome. Shoving them to the very limits of their endurance, their flex-time allotments and their humanity. And leaving them with no escape from that which they fear most upon God’s Good Earth…
The Re-Org.

The perfect book for the wondrous, magical and utterly out-of-control times in which we live, “The Re-Org” tells the tale of an office environment the likes of which you’ve never seen before. Unless, of course, you have. In which case, well; God help you.
Filled with wacky, over-stressed folks pushed to the very brink of their corporate survival, this crazy comedy mashes together everything from office politics to radical outsourcing – to the New Business World Order – to weave a tale that is shocking, outrageous – and far too familiar to anyone who’s ever slaved away inside a cubicle farm.
Indeed, “The Re-Org” serves as a metaphor for us all, as we struggle to survive the cataclysmic global upheavals which continue to bear down upon us – even as your eyes sweep across the very length of this page.
So find out what all the cool kids are talking about – and buy your copy of “The Re-Org” today!

No Man’s Land
It was a beautiful dream, as compelling and just as any in history – yet unattainable. Realizing it meant overcoming entrenched ideological and political divisions that had split a city and the world for half a century. Then it happened, overnight and without warning. And nothing would ever be as it was before.
Berlin, 1989. Richard, an expatriate American, is working a profitable yet “pointless” job selling software for a small U.S. firm in West Berlin. Among his companions are Katarina Weber, a married mother whose hedonistic escapades help distract Richard from the emptiness of his existence; Knut Heino, a theology student who considers work the consequence of original sin and aims to avoid it by entering the priesthood; and Klaus, a former East German border guard who fled over the Wall and could never adjust to life in the West. Stranded in the isolated enclave of West Berlin without the means to leave, Klaus asks Richard for a favor that requires an excursion to the East German capital. There he meets Traudi Franzke, a young nurse addicted to the Communist ideals inherited at an early age from her father. The relationship that ensues between Richard and Traudi, separated from reality by the notorious concrete border, exposes hopes long since betrayed but clung to, nevertheless. Throughout that momentous year, Richard straddles the two distinct worlds of East and West Berlin until events send them careening toward a collision, completing a journey from an age of ideologies to the “end of history.”

Author Bio:
Michael Califra lived and worked in Germany, mostly in Berlin, from 1986 to 1998 where he wrote the novel, “No Man’s Land”. When he first considered writing about the Berlin it was still divided. The challenge then was to render in fiction a situation more absurdly fictional than any he could imagine. When the Wall fell and Germany and Berlin were reunified, it soon became very clear that the city he knew would quickly be erased, just as the Berlin of the Kaiser had been overtaken by Weimar Berlin, which had then been wiped away by Hitler’s capital, which was then replaced by Cold War cities of East and West Berlin. Wanting to document the place he knew would dissolve into history was the motivation behind writing his novel.
The author has also executive produced feature films starring such Hollywood talent as Rosario Dawson, Cuba Gooding Jr., Paul Rudd and Winona Ryder.
