The Game by Hasse Mori

The-Game-Hasse-Mori-Chimera-1_Medium-SizeAbout The Game by Hasse Mori:

“What’s the point in playing if you know you’re gonna win?”

Beautiful and insane – that’s how a woman named Cassandra was described in the ancient mythology. Now another Cassandra got a decision to make when she learns that her father was murdered, and the murder is somehow linked to a mysterious game.

She accepts the strange invitation without any idea of what she’s getting herself into. Or even who sent her the invitation. A thrilling journey of mystery and suspense begins, and now, she must learn to play. But at what cost? How far is she willing to go to find the truth about her father, and seek revenge for his death?

And what would be a better place to begin a racy adventure around the world than the fabulous Las Vegas, a place almost as absurd as the game itself.

Author Bio:
Hasse Mori has lived in many cities, countries, traveled around the world. As a curious mind, observer, he relies more in a good pair of shoes than anything else.

For a reason that’s still a mystery to him, he avoided to start writing over thirty years, always carrying a book where ever he went, reading everything he could get his hands on. And he still does, loving reading over anything else until one morning he woke-up early, couldn’t sleep, made a pot of coffee and sat down with his laptop and started typing.

A journey began and now nothing feels the same. The time has finally come to let his imagination loose, and hope there’s someone out there who enjoys the stories his wicked mind creates, as he certainly enjoys writing them.

About A Real Woman by Etoile Star

Sale Price 99 cents

A sexy and entertaining memoir, this book culminates my almost 20 year sexual adventure. My life was far from ordinary. Yes, it included good times and bad, successes and failures, ups and downs. But it also included politicians, Hollywood studio execs, famous madams, foreign dignitaries, sports figures, movie stars, rich real estate agents and Internet start up founders.

Now I’m at a point in my life where I must ask myself: Can a former Hollywood hooker find happiness in a small Midwestern town?

If finding Mr. Right, a good looking, successful, property manager who pilots a company jet and who is also a Level A squash player and a near-scratch handicap golfer, is happiness, then the answer is yes. But life is never all peaches and cream, is it? The entanglement of a budding romance alongside running a sex provider business ensures elements of pain and misadventure, especially if one of your clients is crazy for you because you soothe his Madonna/Whore complex.

Denis, despite his A list credentials (or perhaps because of them), proves to be alarmingly judgmental. Casey, who likes to be called Studs, rescues me from a potentially insurmountable problem, but then, for no apparent reason, goes off the deep end.

Erotically stimulating and often amusing, A Real Woman will titillate your libido as it lures you into my story.

Flowers of Grace

BookCover-FrontOnly-medium-copyAbout Flowers of Grace:

Flowers of Grace, a novel inspired by a true story, is a heart-wrenching book club choice that one reviewer called “a tribute to love and friendship.”

Set in an upscale St. Louis boutique amid a fragile economic climate when retail customers are trading brick and mortar stores for online shopping, Flowers of Grace is a story of love and loss, friendship and forgiveness.

Still mourning a broken engagement, Grace inherits a hibiscus with a legacy she fears she will kill. Doubt in her capacity to nurture anything prompts her to bring the plant into the clothing store she manages, and the dynamic personalities of the female staff band together to help it bloom. Grace and the hibiscus blossom through a wedding and a birth, but its unexpected death pushes her to face false assumptions, opening a path for new love to appear.

The simple gift is more than a plant. When it blooms, so does she. But when it dies, she fears love will too.

What others are saying about Flowers of Grace:

“This is a beautiful story celebrating different kinds of female connections, including those that we may feel we make imperfectly — we especially need each other in our “not-quite-in-full-bloom” stages.” — a Goodreads reviewer

“ . . . truly brings to light how women need women, how we are uniquely invested in overcoming problems, how we grow stronger as an individual when we embrace our differences by communicating, sharing a simple laughter, or extending sympathy in times of sorrows.” – a Goodreads reviewer

The love that author Jennifer Chase has for books and writing began with the weekly trips that her mom would take with her to the local library. She holds a bachelors degree in police forensics and a masters in criminology, academic pursuits that developed out of her curiosity about the criminal mind as well as from her own experience with a violent sociopath, providing Jennifer with deep personal investment in every story she tells. Coming to Las Vegas, A True Tale of Sex, Drugs & Sin City in the 70s

kindle-low-resAbout Coming to Las Vegas, A True Tale of Sex, Drugs & Sin City in the 70s:

A true tale of sex, drugs and Las Vegas in the 70s, Carolyn V. Hamilton tells how she arrived in Las Vegas in 1973 to join a circus, and opened the new MGM Grand Hotel/Casino as a cocktail waitress.

In 1973 Carolyn Hamilton arrives in Las Vegas with boyfriend Del to join the business side of the newly-formed Las Vegas International Circus. When they run out of money Carolyn gets a job as a cocktail waitress in the soon-to-open MGM Grand Hotel/Casino. Through nefarious means, Del gets the position as bailiff for District Court Judge Paul Goldman. Carolyn and Del marry, but Dale’s ex-wife surfaces, and he is revealed as a bigamist.

Working cocktails at the MGM turns out to be more involved than a nice Lutheran girl from Seattle would think: rumors, parties, stealing, sex, drinking and drugs are the main entertainment for a bored crew of cocktail waitresses, bartenders, dealers and floormen. Some waitresses date culinary union bosses, who have their own high drama of payoffs, fights for control, fire bombings and an 18-day culinary union strike.

After a ménage a quatre with two other waitresses and a casino floorman, Carolyn decides this is not the kind of life she wants for herself. After three years she leaves the MGM to rediscover her personal values and commitment to her marriage.

Each story told in this memoir—of the Martin Scorsese “Casino” era of Las Vegas—is true, and many of them are humorous as well as outrageous.

Author Bio:
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Missy. She didn’t have many friends, so she spent her time quietly singing to herself and exploring the woods in her quiet Connecticut neighborhood. Her parents were a pair that was meant to be, and from them she and her younger brother learned the value of love, hard work, and appreciation for life’s small blessings. They spent many hours together floating on the lake, exploring mountain trails, camping, and taking lazy rides along the river on bumpy dirt roads.

As she grew older, Missy had her share of trials and difficulties as we all do at times in our lives. The forest was a steady friend for her, and she would find herself escaping into it to listen to the wind in the leaves and feel the quiet strength of the trees. Of course, anyone spending any amount of time in the woods begins to wonder about fairies, and even if they don’t admit it to themselves, they might even start to believe.

Eventually, Missy went off to college and spent some time learning about the wide world, and finally found true happiness with a paint brush in her hand, telling a story. She dreamed of happiness and tried to spread it around wherever she could.

Then one day, Missy met the man of her dreams. True love carried her to Virginia to the suburbs of Washington D.C., where she married her best friend. Together they had a child.

The three of them are currently living out their happily ever after together, even as you read this little tale.

Tasha Ivey is a literature fanatic, whose love for the written word fostered her development into the writer she has become. A lover of an extremely erratic mixture of literature, she has been influenced by authors from Jane Austen and E.M. Forster to Charlaine Harris and Alyson Noel. But her biggest influence and literary hero? Nicholas Sparks. Aside from writing, since she doesn’t have anything other than a shriveled up prune on the left side of her brain, she prefers to spend her time being creative in other ways like painting, cake decorating, and various types of crafts. That is, if the constant voices streaming through her head allow her to stop making up stories for a while. Lucky for her, she has a huge supportive family, including her amazing husband and two kids, who doesn’t complain too much when she hangs out with her characters more than she does with them. Sophie, the dog, however . . . she does complain. A lot.
