How’s Your Health?

Are you someone that has dealt with health issues or chronic illnesses all your life, but haven’t been able to beat them? You’ve tried so many different methods, but can’t seem to fix the issues…

Maybe you lack vitality, energy and enthusiasm to enjoy life and you might even be missing out on opportunities and activities because you simply just don’t have the energy.

And through all of this, you’ve spent (or is that wasted?) your time and money on doctors and therapists but none of them have been able to solve the problems either.

Where does that leave you?

Why is it so hard to figure out how to heal yourself? Because modern-day society doesn’t provide us with all the information we need. Instead, we are left to seek our own answers, through trial and error…

A Solution: Master Your Health Naturally

What you need is access to information that address ALL factors that influence your health. This includes:

– physical issues

– emotional issues

– mental issues

– spiritual issues

Because without addressing all these factors, how can you hope to restore balance to your wellbeing for the long-term? Anything else is simply a band-aid fix.

There is a better way: it involves understanding what it takes to balance your body, listening to it and following the clues it leaves… We call this holistic healing.

In this informal and helpful guide, Natalie Kent will show you how you can become the master of your own body, providing you with strategies that will enable you to determine what works best for you and what doesn’t.

The Body Blueprint will show you specific steps to create new behaviours and habits now so that you can increase your long-term success and achieve a healthy, vibrant you that FINALLY feels normal again.

Lady of the Flames by Barbara Monajem

Lady-of-the-Flames-Cover-Low-WEBAbout Lady of the Flames by Barbara Monajem:

Magic is fraught with peril—but so is love.

Lord Fenimore Trent’s uncanny affinity for knives and other sharp blades led to duels and murderous brawls until he found a safe, peaceful outlet by opening a furniture shop—an unacceptable occupation for a man of noble birth. Now Fen’s business partner has been accused of treason. In order to root out the real traitor, he may have to resort to the violent use of his blades once again.

Once upon a time, Andromeda Gibbons believed in magic. That belief faded after her mother’s death and vanished completely when Lord Fenimore, the man she loved, spurned her. Five years later, Andromeda has molded herself into a perfect—and perfectly unhappy—lady. When she discovers her haughty betrothed in a treasonous plot, she flees into the London night to the one man she knows she can trust. But taking refuge with Fen leads to far more than preventing treason. Can she learn to believe in love, magic, and the real Andromeda once again?

Lady of the Flames is available at an introductory price of 99 cents. It is one of the multi-author Regency series, A Most Peculiar Season.

Regencies With a Difference! A Most Peculiar Season

The year is 1811 and the Prince of Wales has finally been declared Regent to rule in place of his incapacitated father. But that is not the most peculiar thing about this London Season…

An audacious thief is lifting jewels from under the very noses of their aristocratic owners. Some suspect The Mayfair Shadow may be a member of the ton! An infant is abandoned on the doorstep of three notorious rakes – but which one is the father? Are a series of gruesome murders at Vauxhall connected to the exiled royal house of Moldavia? A perfect young lady, betrothed to England’s most eligible earl, vanishes from a ball on the eve of her wedding. And what about rumors of a virile Viking warrior in the Prince Regent’s court?

Enjoy this entertaining Regency series created by a group of award-winning and bestselling historical romance authors!

Author Bio:
Barbara Monajem grew up in western Canada. She wrote her first story, a fantasy about apple tree gnomes, when she was eight years old, and dabbled in neighborhood musicals at the age of ten. At twelve, she spent a year in Oxford, England, soaking up culture and history, grubbing around at an archaeological dig, playing twosy-ball against the school wall, and spending her pocket money on adventure novels. Thanks to her mother, she became addicted to Regency romances as well. She is the award-winning author of several Regency novellas, many of which include elements of magic, and the Bayou Gavotte series of paranormal mysteries. Apart from writing, she loves to cook (especially soups), and the only item on her bucket list is to succeed at knitting socks (which she doubts she will achieve). She lives near Atlanta, Georgia, with an ever-shifting population of relatives, friends, and feline strays.

Yaakwdaat Aya

2014_1224Italio0006About Yaakwdaat Aya:

Bertrand J. Adams Sr., who writes under his Tlingit name, Kadashan, offers one of the first and few glimpses into the daily lives of the Tlingit Indians. His stories describe the Tlingit as they live today in Southeastern Alaska. The Tlingit have been in contact with Westerners for over 250 years. The pervasive thinking is that they have completely abandoned their traditional culture and values in favor of western ways. While his writings were not specifically designed to counter this popular supposition, Kadashan successfully describes, in a simple manner, the ways in which the Tlingit have incorporated traditional beliefs and values into their daily lives.

He shows his greatest strength when he writes of the common, ordinary events in village life. A trip to the store is filled with the subtle nuances and thoughts of individuals reared in both the Tlingit and western cultures. Hunting and fishing trips illustrate the challenges facing the participants as well as the simple pleasures of these ventures. Additionally, Kadashan aptly reveals the knowledge villagers possess of their environment. The author also deals with the conflicts and tensions faced by Tlingit youth whose world is challenged by new ways. In this collection, the author also offers his own thinking of the institutions which act as a buffer between the Tlingit and Western societies and on the laws that impact Tlingit culture.

Kadashan’s stories reveal an intimate knowledge as well as love of village life. His enthusiasm carries over to readers. When his stories were first published in the Alaska Native Magazine, they were instantly popular. This collection should receive the same warm welcome.

Author Bio:
Even though he might have a smidgen of Swedish in him my father, Kadashan, is a Tlingit Indian to the core.

Even though he now lives in Yakutat, Kadashan has roots that come from Sitka and Wrangell. His grandmother named him after her father, John Kadashan, from Wrangell. He was born in Sitka. That’s where his mother met his father while they were attending Sheldon Jackson Boarding School.

When he was six months old his father drowned in a hunting accident. About a year later she remarried, however the marriage did not last; it was through this union that I was born. About a year later, his mother moved to Yakutat. Here she married our step-father.

The name Kadashan was given to him by his paternal grandmother. She named him after her father, John Kadashan, who later in his life, was a clan chief from Wrangell. Kadashan means “red tide coming.”

Kadashan’s formal education was received in Yakutat. His high school years were split between Holland High School in Holland, Michigan, and Mount Edgecumbe High School, a boarding school for Native Alaskans near Sitka. His undergraduate work was obtained from Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka, and later at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

As a youngster Kadashan learned from a Tlingit Indian friend, Peter Harry, how to express himself with oil colors. “He started me with oils,” he explains. “When I was in high school I started water colors.” His short stories have been published in the Alaska Native Magazine (ANM) and the Horizons Magazine. The ANM has used his water colors to illustrate his stories. The second printing of these stories are reproductions in black and white of his paintings. He has also written for the Alaska Magazine and the Alaskan Southeaster Magazine, and for about six years wrote a monthly column for the Juneau Empire.

His stories are local color. He takes a slice of life from the lifestyle, culture, history and tradition of the Tlingit people from his community, develops a plot and composites of characters from the village. To inform and entertain are the objectives for his writings and about the Tlingit Indians of Yakutat.

He is a retired commercial fisherman and is presently working on more books.

The poem in the beginning of this book was written by our mother when she was a teenager. She wrote many poems during those years. This poem, along with three others, was found among her possessions after her death; they were scribbled in a small, faded, note book.

The first printing of This Is Yakutat was published in 1992.

There are a few things Kadashan learned while trying to become a writer:

Number one is to read a lot. Read everything so you can overflow the filing cabinet of your mind with a myriad of information.

Second is to read creatively. He believes a writer deliberately leaves things out of his work so the reader can fill in the blanks.

Third, learn to get more out of a book than what is really in it.

Finally, all writers look for truth. It is through the process of reading a lot, reading creatively, and getting more out of a book than is really in it that writers come to an understanding of what truth might be. Once he or she discovers truth then, he believes, they have an obligation to share it with the world.

My father is no exception.

Robert G. Adams

Gypsy Hunted

Gypsy-Hunted-revamp-Jan-2015About Gypsy Hunted:

Misery meets Medium…

Reluctant psychic Gypsy Shields (she prefers the term “intuition consultant”) finds herself in trouble when, on her way home from a blind date, she interrupts a kidnapping in progress. Her heroic attempt to intervene is repaid with a collision between the attacker’s van and a brick wall. She awakens in hospital, paralyzed on her left side and unable to speak. Unable to share vital information about the crime she witnessed. Fortunately, her telepathic connection with her niece helps her throw a line out, attracting the attention of a police detective: Connor Reardon, Gypsy’s date the night of the attack.

Stepping in to protect Gypsy, Connor even listens to her claims of psychic power. She soon senses he’s concealing certain powers of his own. Nor are they all he’s concealing. A part of Gypsy’s new ally’s mind is closed to her. What she cannot know is that Connor suspects the kidnapper is someone close to him, and the victim holds secrets that will tear through Connor’s department, putting careers and lives at risk. Including Gypsy’s, as she is left recovering in hospital and vulnerable as the attacker turns his sights on her once again.

Can she use her powers to track down the perpetrator in time to prevent her own murder?

˃˃˃ “A Master Story Teller”
“What a magnificent suspense! This author is a true master of story telling! I read this book all the way through in one sitting, it was just that good! I really had a hard time putting it down ” Holly Newhouse-Guidry – Eternal Book Reviews and best-selling author of the Twin Souls Trilogy

˃˃˃ “Unusually well honed skills for a debut fiction author”
“Andrea shows that she has skills that are unusually well honed for a debut fiction novel. She is able to propel a plot at times breathlessly while retaining that gift to insert comic relief to allow time for the reader to rev up for the continuing investigation. Skills such as these are rarely so well developed in a debut novel and this suggests (or assures) that Andrea Drew has found a vibrant new niche.” Grady Harp, Amazon Top 100 Reviewer and member of The Vine Voice

˃˃˃ “Seat Gripping on the Edge of your Seat book”
“Seat gripping on the edge of your seat book! The story line will take you far and beyond what you think when you first start reading this book! It will keep you turning the pages and trying to figure out who and what happens with Gypsy. This will keep you wandering and guessing what the deal is with Connor and how these two will end up. If you haven’t read this book yet, you don’t want to miss out! Grab your copy or add to your goodreads list! This is one heck of a read!” Peggy Salkill, Undercover Book Reviews
