Patricia Matthew was born and raised in Kent, U.K. and later went on to train to teach Biology under the London Institute. She married and had two children and now lives in Southport, a Victorian seaside town in the northwest of England.
It was while studying for an English degree as a mature student that her writing career took off. As well as this debut novel, she has published a collection of tales entitled ‘FEMME FATALE and other stories’.
When not writing, Patricia is an avid reader and for some years now, has been the co-ordinator of a Book Reading Group. She also likes to paint using acrylics, enjoys gardening and walking Tilly, her Parsons Jack Russell Terrier.
