Rik Stone grew up amidst the slum-lands of fifties North East England and left school at fifteen without academic qualifications.
He worked in the shipyards on a local river, spent time in the merchant navy, and went on to work in quarries in South East England.
The time came he yearned for change, so he began to study. Beginning with lower level stuff, he worked through to gaining a BSc. degree in mathematics and computing.

The author of Steamroll is a corporate attorney who has represented corporate debtors in bankruptcy and witnessed frustrating results in our national bankruptcy system. His legal work for a publicly traded geothermal company, and as Assistant General Counsel for a large independent United States oil company with operations in Siberia, has given him the first-hand experience to validate his accounts as credible. Although much of Steamroll appears authentic, it is a work of fiction, and any similarity of any of its characters to any person living or dead, is unintended and purely coincidental. The author earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stanford University, his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Southern California, and his Masters in Business Administration from U.C.L.A. I have been asked if a book can be featured more than once on our site. The answer is yes. You have two choices when it comes to having your book featured again. You can resubmit it and click the payment process over again or send me an email vinny@awesomegang.com with the url for the book and I will send a Paypal invoice.
