Anna Sink is a literacy tutor and owner of Pathways Tutoring in Charlotte, NC, as well as a stay-at-home mom. She has a B.A. in Elementary Education from UNC – Chapel Hill and her M.Ed. for Experienced Teachers in Literacy, also from UNC – Chapel Hill. She taught in public schools both in North Carolina and New York City for nine years before having her first child and starting her tutoring business. She has a passion for multi-sensory learning and incorporating literacy into all aspects of children’s lives and in serving underserved populations. Like most parents, she was caught unprepared for a pandemic and the chaotic aftermath, so writing this book is what she calls, “Taking back some control.” One of her favorite quotes is from Kurt Hahn, “There is more to us than we know. Author Bio:
Karen Howard lives in Southern Illinois. She has two daughters, a son, and five grandchildren, and has been a nurse for over 35 years. Karen comes from a family of writers, including her brother TJ Howard, and sister, Shirley Roney. Howard was inspired to write “Alez Learns About Germs” as she faced her young grandchildren’s questions amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. These inquiries made her aware of a need to educate curious young children about germs, and how they can affect our daily lives. The author’s hope is that Alez’s story will inspire parents, teachers, and adults to explore creative, fun ways to help children understand how to stay safe and healthy in our world today.

Author Bio:
C.D. Muller (Crystal Dawn Muller) was born on December 9th, 1990. From her love of Harry Potter, she wrote the first installment in the Armageddon Trilogy when she was fourteen.

She graduated from Patagonia Union High School in 2009 and attended college to study Computer Science and programming, during which she participated in community events, such as writing plays for the Tin Shed Theatre and preparing presentations for elementary classes.

Her husband’s death heavily affected Muller’s writing and art. She almost gave up on both but ended up using her talents to help her cope with depression and anxiety.

She currently lives in Tucson, AZ with her three cats.

Dr. Yoho is 66 years old in 2020. He spent three decades as a cosmetic surgeon after a career as an emergency physician. His generalist training gives him perspective and allows him to avoid favoring any medical specialty.
He has had little dealings with hospitals, big Pharma, or insurance companies before he wrote this book. No one has ever considered him a “whale” prescriber or device implanter. He retired from medical practice in 2019.
