Author Bio:
I have always loved books and reading, especially romance novels. My mother often borrowed books. She encouraged me to read, but romance novels, especially the bodice rippers popular at the time, were not for growing minds. To get around her restrictions, I would sneak these books away, mastering the arts of fast reading and getting through an entire paperback without creasing the spine. Those hours lost in the adventures of swashbuckling pirates and average office workers were my escape from the pressure of school and home. No matter what anyone said, I loved romance and I still do.

I want to give that same kind of escape to my readers. My books are a lot naughtier than what I read as a teenager, so maybe not *exactly* the same kind of escape. My stories are about complicated people in sometimes dark situations struggling towards love. Because what’s the fun in easy?
