My name’s John and I’m originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I’ve been writing professionally for 10+ years, starting out in reality TV, scripting shows like Nat Geo’s Alaska State Troopers and the Bio Channel’s Biography series. Later on I transitioned into copywriting and book writing.

The books I’ve written are about my passions: meditation, dude stuff and traveling. I’ve been meditating for 13+ years and have traveled to 11 countries, been a tax-paying resident on three continents, and have lived outside the US for four and a half years and counting.

Among a variety of careers and occupations, he was a soldier with a tactical mobile operations unit in Germany, as well as an executive for a Fortune 500 company.

He has published short stories in the Houghton Mifflin Black Mask anthologies, the Ginosko Literary Journal, and was a finalist in the New Letters’ Alexander Patterson Cappon Prize for Fiction.
