Surrender at Canyon Road by Debora Dale
About Surrender at Canyon Road by Debora Dale
Seconds before delivering ransom for his sister and nephew, Johnny Blake was sidelined by a brutal double-cross that left him stranded in the dead of night with no way to reach the kidnappers.
Dani Moyer had one site to photograph in a remote location nestled somewhere along the Rockies. When she stopped for directions, he asked for a ride…and he wouldn’t take no for an answer.
“Lots of outstanding visceral body language, two compelling characters, rife with intrigue and sexual tension.” – USA Today Best-selling Author, Mary Buckham
SURRENDER at CANYON ROAD
At first she fights against him.
Then for him.
Then with him.
Ransom in hand, Johnny “Blake” races to the drop point to rescue his sister and nephew only to wind up blindsided by a terrible double-cross. Now he’s stranded in the Colorado Rockies in the dead of night with no car and no options. Then the kidnappers call with new demands, and Blake is forced to do the unthinkable.
Dani Moyer is only a few good photographs and some winding mountain roads away from winning a contest that will change her life–until a stranger kidnaps her. She doesn’t believe his story about a kidnapped sister and her child. And she’s not giving up her dreams without a fight.
But when the kidnappers call again, Blake and Dani hear the agonizing sound of the child’s frightened voice. Blake will stop at nothing to save the boy from this nightmare, and Dani knows that to help him, she must surrender her own dreams.

Author Bio:
Debora Dale’s first literary love is romantic suspense – to read and to write. A New Yorker born and bred with roots burrowed deep into Brooklyn, Debora uses the diversity, excitement and seedy underbelly of her hometown as fodder for her stories. While she adores happily-ever-afters, she makes certain her characters toil for theirs.
Debora is a Gemini, proud southpaw, and former homeschooling mom and animal shelter volunteer. Her Patronus is a grey-speckled stallion. When not writing, she can be found baking a decadent little something in her kitchen or enjoying a quiet early-morning moment in her tiny urban yard. Mostly, however, you will find her trying to plot a new story while at least one of her five rescued felines settles in for a nap on her keyboard.
Eternal curse
An eternal contract that could destroy her life, her love, and even a city.
My magic isn’t a gift—it’s a curse, passed down from one generation to the next.
With bills piling up, I signed a contract with a devil in exchange for money. Little did I know the contract is eternal. Whenever I’m summoned, I have to use my magic for illegal operations.
After two years I want out.
When I meet Kato, a Voodoo priest, he promises to release me from my shackles. I’m desperate enough, I selfishly take that chance. It’s his life, not mine after all. But the closer I get to Kato, the more I think that losing him might be just as hard to take as this life I’m stuck in.
Now I have two options. Freedom from my magic or freedom from this contract. Either one will be nearly impossible to achieve.
Can Kato free me before everything precious to me is destroyed?
Fans of Patricia Briggs will love this blend of urban fantasy and slow-burn paranormal romance wrapped into one magical adventure in the eternal curse.

A Hollywood Accounting
In 1985, when I started working in entertainment, all I wanted was to run a Hollywood studio (and, of course, the glamorous lifestyle that comes along with the job).
The next 15 years were focused on doing nothing but pursuing that goal. At age 30, I was the Head of Production for Harpo Films; and with each rung, I climbed higher up the ladder, I was closer to achieving my dreams.

Arnold Falls by Charlie Suisman
About Arnold Falls by Charlie Suisman
Spend time in the funny, oddball village of Arnold Falls, where larger-than-life characters deal with the smallest of problems. Somehow, it all comes out right in the end. Arnold Falls is a novel that tips its hat to Armistead Maupin and P. G. Wodehouse, creating a world in which food, music, friendship, love, and tending your own garden are connected in surprising ways. “Incredibly funny” – Kirkus Review
