The Billionaire’s Unexpected Wife

About The Billionaire’s Unexpected Wife

I thought this Vegas fundraiser was going to be boring—another obligation to keep the family business alive. Wrong. I don’t remember a thing about the night we spent together, other than how good she felt against me, like she was made for me. We woke up the next morning with more than we bargained for—wedding rings. Too bad I don’t believe in true love.

Deadraiser — Jordan’s Bank Part One by Stephanie C. Lyons-Keeley & Wayne J. Keeley

About Deadraiser — Jordan’s Bank Part One by Stephanie C. Lyons-Keeley & Wayne J. Keeley

Necromancy is an ancient black magic used for the purposes of communing with the dead. It is believed that practitioners of the dark art may harness the ultimate power of life and death and raise the departed for their own nefarious, malevolent purposes. It also is alleged that a true necromancer may realize the ultimate gift of mortality.

DEADRAISER is the tale of a present-day practitioner who achieves what others have been unable to do for centuries — to raise the dead. The problem is that he must sacrifice innocent victims in order to maintain his power.

Enter Fanchon (Frankie) Manning, daughter of the late movie star Erika Manning. She is the ideal sacrificial lamb for the Necromancer’s perverse desires. The only thing that stands between the Necromancer and the girl is Christopher McGuire, a lost soul who long ago has ceased believing in anything. In order to save the child, he must somehow rediscover his faith and summon the courage to take on the darkest, most sinister being imaginable.

Dappled

About Dappled

A heartwarming and inspiring story of love, loss and self-acceptance.

“During Colleen’s absences, Jane would write stories to try to fill the time… and there was a feeling like she was carrying heavy shopping bags, but somehow on the inside…’’

Colleen is not like other mothers, and Jane knows she’s not like other teenagers.
Finding out she has a skin condition that will gradually give her the appearance of a Dalmatian is only further confirmation she’ll never fit in.
At least she’s well on her way to creating the perfect camouflage… until she meets someone who’s determined to strip it all off.

Jane’s story journeys between her adult years in Perth, Western Australia, to her adolescence in the coastal tree-lined town of Denmark further south, where dreams for aspiring creatives (sometimes) come true… and where she falls in love. Along the way, Jane faces the struggles that come with being human and learns to realise that sometimes, someone loving us at our worst can set us free to become our best.

Author Bio:
Lisa Brown lives in sunny Perth, Western Australia with her partner Matthew (who has a penchant for building robots and spreadsheeting their holidays) and their two young, rambunctious boys, Adam and Joshua. They inhabit a chaotic, noisy home strewn with books, Lego and unidentifiable electronic parts.

Lisa’s school report cards always described her as being the resident class writer and story-teller. Many of her fondest memories from childhood involved long, languid weekends writing her stories.

As well as an author, Lisa is an occupational therapist, who works as a sessional university academic teaching neuropsychiatry and counselling units. She is also a group therapist at a private mental health clinic, who facilitates therapy groups for people in varying stages of their recovery journeys. Lisa loves this work and feels many of the things her patients have taught her about resilience and vulnerability have helped inspire her writing.
