Manuel "Manny" Anzaldua was born in 1976 in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Frisco, Texas which was a small town in the 80's and 90's. Manny's grandfather was Chief of Police for ten years and his parents were the first Hispanic pastors. At the age of 18 Manny moved out of his parents house and ventured out on his own to discover a world on his own. He took a dark path and began experimenting with drugs and alcohol and nearly dying of a drug overdose and a severe car accident in the late 90's and ended up on the wrong side of the law in 1999 and being convicted of two felonies and sentenced to one year of state jail time in a Texas prison.
