Thomas Hollyday (1942-present grew up in the southern atmosphere of the Eastern Shore of Maryland with its maritime and military heritage. He studied writing with Elliott Coleman at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars and with Michael Curtis of the Atlantic Monthly. He served with distinction in Vietnam and became a successful international businessman. He also drew illustrations for national magazines and published Chesapeake maritime and Civil War history. He currently edits you tube videos and WordPress blogs for animal water rights and for book reviews. Two of his books have featured his humorous Animal Viewpoint Cartoons. Michal Hartstein was born in 1974 in Israel into a religious family, studied economics and accounting at the University of Tel Aviv and started a career in finance.

In 2006, after becoming a mother, she decided to change direction and began to write. For several years she has written a popular personal blog, and in 2011 published her first book, Confession of an Abandoned Wife. After two years she published her second book, Hill of Secrets. Jeff primarily writes in the science fiction genre, but he is in the process of co-authoring his first fantasy novel with his daughter, Kayla. Jeff’s first novel, Prena’s Eye, is based on a project he developed when he was a NASA contractor.  Some of the technologies and inventions mentioned in The Spark Anomaly were inspired by Jeff’s real-world inventions.

As an author, inventor, engineer, entrepreneur, and business executive, Jeff has developed more than 25 patents and has expertise in the fields of computer graphics, computer vision, satellite communications, antenna design, spacecraft architectures, software architectures, artificial intelligence, and more.

After completing his PhD at the University of Maryland, Jeff founded Animated Communications, which is where he designed the national award-winning 3-D Choreographer, the world’s first commercial 3-D character-based animation software package.
