As a child, Nicole always wanted to be an actress. However, her only shot at becoming the next Meryl Streep was during her one-second appearance in Paul Verhoeven's film 'Black Book' where her shirt got ripped off her body. After that, she decided to focus on her writing career instead.

When she's not writing, she spends her time as crazy cat lady, playing with her cats Buffy and Garfield. In addition, Nicole's hobbies include trying to chase tornadoes (although she still hasn't seen any), fantasizing about villains (isn't Lex Luthor far more interesting than Clark Kent?), and most of all reading stories somebody else wrote.

42 Degrees of Truth by Victoria Ray

About 42 Degrees of Truth by Victoria Ray

42 Degrees of Truth is a life-changing experience!

Each page of this poetry collection contains plenty of irony, dark humour, and straight-up oddness, all in the name of criticising social issues, cultural dysfunction, broken relationships, and our egoistic views.
Each poem is written with such beauty that you’ll find yourself craving to read the next one. Some are extremely heartbreaking, some are bitter and erotic, some teeter on the absurd, violence, and rage…
42 Degrees of Truth is also a powerful window into the mindset of the 21st century – the frustrations of sexism, the burdens of the monotonous family life, and the futility of the new All-What-I-Am culture.
As to be expected from Victoria Ray, the poems are fun, sharp, and eye-opening, with a touch of dark melancholy.

Abdul B. Swift didn’t know he wanted to become an author right away. He had many jobs unrelated to writing including being the manager of an automotive parts store. It was at AB. Swift’s public speaking club (Toastmasters International) that A.B. had his, “ah-ha” moment. He was asked by members of the club to take notes of everything that happens at the meetings.
A.B. would be complemented often on how creative and entertaining his notes were. He thoroughly enjoyed doing it. So much so, he decided writing was something he wanted to pursue. After doing some research and reading a number of books on the art of writing.
A.B. made up his mind that he’d become an author, and he’d start out by writing children’s books. He wanted kids to be entertained and to laugh while learning that parents sometimes know best. Hence, Any Kid USA was born.
