Author Bio:
Clare Bongiovanni born January 1960, first generation Italian/American her father immigrated from Mola di Bari, Italy and her Mother from Borgetto, Sicily. Clare is a proud Mother of two sons and one grandson and lives in Woodridge, Illinois.
In 2007 she was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer, her cancer returned and metastasized to her bones in 2017. Clare continues to fight each day throughout her treatment. She has placed herself in the hands of God as he guides her through her battle.
Clare is the former President & CEO of a local Chamber of Commerce for 10 years where she dedicated all her time fostering relationships with local business and planning large community events.
Clare is genuine, humble and carries herself with pride and dignity. Clare began to journal after being in a dysfunctional relationship and decided to write her first book Controlled without Compromise.
