The Pures: A Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse Novel by A.C. Wilds, Candice Wright, Aspen Marks, and Isobelle Carmichael

The Pures: A Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse Novel by A.C. Wilds, Candice Wright, Aspen Marks, and Isobelle Carmichael

In a world that has fallen into chaos and ruin, humans have traded in their morality in favour of power and greed. Burning through the earth’s resources and shrouding us all in darkness.

When the Goddess of all Creation can bear no more, she bestows upon four women an impossible task. They must find the last remaining Pures, humans whose souls and hearts remain untainted.

But they are not the only ones searching for them. There are others who seek to find them first. Their aim – to rain down rivers of fire and blood across the world. But they forget one thing… there have never been horsewomen before.
And Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

**This book is intended for people 18+ and contains violence and sexual situations. It’s not for the faint of heart. This is not an anthology. It’s a shared world project where one story flows into and feeds off the other.**

Author Bio:
Four authors who happen to be best friends came up with this crazy idea. What if the Horseman were actually Horsewomen? And what if they stopped the Apocalypse and not start it?

AC Wilds – A.C. Wilds was born and raised in New York City. She lives in an outer borough with her husband and two girls. She loves horseback riding, mythical creatures, and everything books. When she isn’t at her desk writing the next great escape, she can be found with the blankets over her head reading a steamy paranormal tale.

Candice Wright – As a mother of three, you can usually find me covered in glue and glitter, making cookies and repeating myself a hundred times a day. When I’m not raising the next generation of crazy, I am sat at the computer writing words I hope you will love or snuggled up reading books from my favourite authors who have inspired me.

Aspen Marks – Aspen lives off coffee. With three kids (all girls), a full time day job, and an obsession for both reading and writing, coffee is a necessity. You can usually find her writing contemporary, paranormal, fantasy, RH, NON-RH . . . well she’s up for anything. She’s a country girl, living in the Midwest, USA, and loves traveling to go to beaches, or the mountains. Then, there is her secret, midget-ninja work on the side.

Isobelle Carmichael – I’m Isobelle, a writer from Northern Virginia. I’ve been reading and writing for as long as I can remember. However, it wasn’t until I crossed in that magical world known as my 30’s that I shook off the last vestiges of fear and dove head first into my writing career. I started writing in September 2018 and fell in love. I hope you enjoy my stories because I pour a piece of myself into every page.

Black & White by Erol Rashit

About Black & White by Erol Rashit

Sale price $0.99.

Confronting racism, transcending duality: Black & White is a metaphysical Western, set in modern times and incorporating more than a touch of the East.

A young white man, Igor, adopts as his mother a middle aged black woman, Sylvia, after meeting her in a café, each having come from the nearby cemetery. The deeper he delves into the death of Sylvia’s son, the more embroiled Igor becomes in the activities of Los Angeles criminals, and the more he becomes the focus of a police investigation himself. If this were an old Western movie, the heroes and villains might almost be wearing white and black hats respectively. Then again, the hats could be misleading: Igor’s appetite for polyamorous relationships is not exactly respectable; nor is his willingness to match the brutality of those he seeks to outwit as he immerses himself within a tangled web of deception and violence.

Erol Rashit was born in London. He studied ecology at the University of Liverpool and obtained a PhD from the University of London for research into the effects of environmental fluctuations on species diversity. During a period as a photographic artist, he had several one-man shows, but these generated little in the way of income. Eventually, he resorted to paid employment, qualified as an accountant and for several years held the post of Chief Accountant at Imperial College. Having made enough money to fund his future (modest) requirements, he withdrew from the ‘rat race’ in his mid-forties in order to concentrate on his main interest: techniques for examining the illusion of ‘the ghost in the machine’ and for tracing consciousness back to its true source.

Black and White

About Black and White

This dramatic legal thriller examines the impact of racism on the judicial system. Brilliant young trial attorney J.T. Lockman is appointed to represent an African American man accused of murdering a wealthy white man in a county where the Klan has ruled supreme for many years. His client, Lindsey Wilkens, is a proud family man believed by many to be innocent of the crime with which he’s been charged. J.T. is faced with the ultimate challenge for any trial attorney, defending an innocent man from the possibility of death by electrocution. Even worse, the racially charged atmosphere where the trial is to occur could mean death for his client even if the evidence is found to be faulty and insufficient to prove death beyond a reasonable doubt. Lindsey fears he won’t even make it to the trial when he’s placed in the bowels of a jailhouse run by the sheriff whose reputation is what gives the county its shameful notoriety. J.T. embraces the chance to right what he considers a terrible wrong, but he faces the wrath of public opinion, as well as the anger of his friends, family, and the woman he loves as he takes on the establishment of the county. His courtroom battle brings to the surface the many ghosts of its racist and violent past. As the case unravels, he must also come to terms with his own past if he will have any chance to save his relationship with the first woman he’s ever really loved. This is a book that makes us face the reality of our past, but carries within its pages a hope for a future where we, as a society, may be able to move beyond the disease of racism, although the journey may destroy the lives of many along the way.

Getting Schooled

About Getting Schooled

It was a one-night stand five years ago.
As much as I hated myself for thinking about Emelia, I couldn’t help it.
But she left town and life went on.
I married someone else and started living.  I thought we were both happy. I was wrong.
My ex-wife walked out on me and our son, not wanting domestic anything.  So I did the only thing I could.  I started over.  A single dad with my focus on my boy and my job teaching kiddos.  Until Emelia came back to town and got a job teaching at my school.  Then everything changed.  All those memories came rushing back in.  What we were supposed to be if that one night had turned into more.  Beautiful. Clever. Funny. With a body made for loving and a heart of gold. I didn’t know what had been missing from my life until I kissed her again. Her. But she has a secret from our night together that threatens to change everything.  Seems I don’t have just one son.  I have two.
