Author Bio:
Warren is a retired USAF Colonel who has served his country during three wars beginning in WWII when he flew the P-47 fighter bomber in Europe killing people and causing destruction. After he served a tour in Vietnam, where 58,000 brave young Americans suffered and died in vain, he began to see the futility of endless wars that solved nothing, only serving to cause suffering, death, destruction and hatred. He became an activist seeking a better and peaceful world. He’s confident world peace can be achieved, believing God who says, “Nation will not lift up sword against nation; neither will they learn war anymore.” And, “His will is to be done on earth as in heaven.” I’m pretty sure there is no war in heaven. He intends to convince the world that is possible.

Since 2012, when I left the practice of psychology, I’ve been writing and publishing novels in the “Monastery Valley” series. There are three novels so far–“Climbing the Coliseum” (2014), “Nobody’s Safe Here” (2016), and “The Bishop Burned the Lady” (2018). The first two have won multiple awards (“Bishop . . .” has just been released, so no awards yet), including “Climbing . . .” winning the prestigious “Finalist Award” in the 2014 Foreword Reviews Book of the Year competition. The fourth book in the series, “A Patriot’s Campaign,” is forthcoming, probably in 2019.
