The Hit
A mysterious hitman opens fire on a Tel Aviv café and opens a Pandora’s box.
It is a warm and sunny day when gunfire destroys the peace of lunchtime diners at a trendy café in central Tel Aviv. The shots, fired by a mysterious biker, hit several people, and two of them die on the spot: Kobi Ozri, a former criminal and police informer, and a young woman, a local office worker. Kobi’s handler, Hadas Levinger, is immediately brought in to solve the double murder. As she mourns Kobi’s death and confronts a public storm about the powerlessness of the police in their battle against the underworld, Hadas sets out on a journey full of startling twists and turns, until she exposes the surprising truth – all the while facing shattering revelations in her personal life.

About Black Women, My Grandmother Told Me by Narcisse Nguema
About About Black Women, My Grandmother Told Me by Narcisse Nguema
Having lived with his grandparents and uncles will delve his inborn wisdom and the sense of humanity’s protection in priority. In this title “About Black Women, My Grandmother Told Me: Worthy Advice for Future Generations” the author unrolls his literary style as deep, derider and sober. He practices somehow the accuracy of words that he calls mathematics of words. Narcisse Nguema observed the man’s and the woman’s misbehaviors and started to heed his grandmother’s anecdotal concerns and alerts: The Black societies need to target their requirements for a stronger community. Black people need to change to recover their authenticity and better build wealth and their lives at first. The refusal of corruption of minds from white and yellow people along with the appetite for the easiness, regarding women and young people, is the second frame of this project. After having committed “Proven Mother’s Heart” in French, written as He was 22 years-old, Narcisse Nguema found lots to say about women. But He couldn’t add independent and free thoughts in that first complete novel written in a scenography, and still unshared to the public. He figures out that black folks are in severe harmful danger of all aspects. To fix that state of things, the black woman’s standards of education and behavior must be reset to re-empower the black communities, wherever they are — according to the ancestry insight and to the natural growth of the society, they live at.

Great Day in the Morning!
About Great Day in the Morning!
“Great Day in the Morning!” is a book comprised of stories about life in America’s Deep South during the 1950s as seen through the eyes of a child. Told in the tradition of “Tom Sawyer,” the author gives the reader glimpses into the world of an adolescent boy, who, like most his age, was more interested in fun, adventure, and discovery than in America’s racial strife, the menace of communism, and the threat of nuclear war by the superpowers of that era. This book is charmingly naive from a 21st century perspective, but shows how a boy’s environment helps shape the man he will become. These stories lead one to ponder whether it was better growing up during this naive time in our nation’s history more so than growing up in our country today.

John Vedder grew up and has lived his life in the Greater Daytona Beach Area of Florida. A few of his many past enjoyments were wrestling with alligators in the wild and mischievously releasing them in town; and hunting for and tangling with diamondback rattlesnakes in the area’s swamps and highlands. His stories are legendary…

Turn Up The Heat
She’s far above my pay grade, but I’m always ready for a challenge where a woman is concerned.
Unfortunately, my military past haunts me, waking me up late in the night, causing my world to spin in vicious cycles.
But it’s under control, or so I thought.
The guys at the firehouse aren’t buying my “everything is good” bullshit.
All I want is peace. But it evades me.
Until her.
She’s the cure I’ve been looking for, and the poor beauty is unaware of the fact that she’s going to be mine.
No questions asked. No denials accepted.
And when I start after her, she’s quickly consumed in the heat of our connection.
I just need to shake the past and focus on the future.
Our future.
It’s time to forget my burdens and turn up the heat.

The Radically Happy Teacher by Jeison Gonzalez and Madison Fitzpatrick
About The Radically Happy Teacher by Jeison Gonzalez and Madison Fitzpatrick
Are you burning out on teaching, tired of grinding through day after day of frustration, even though you used to be convinced that it was what you were meant to do? This book is for you. The author is a veteran teacher with experience inside and outside the US, and he walks through the four big ideas you need to rebuild a healthy teaching mindset. The book is interactive, with each chapter followed by thoughtful reflections that help you apply what you’ve learned immediately. The steps are applicable to any teacher, regardless of the subject, age of the students, or type of institution where you teach.
Everyone in the education world knows that teacher burnout is a major problem, but most of the conversation is about how to change the external factors that cause it – heavy workloads, poor support, insufficient funding, etc. This book recognizes that today’s teachers can’t afford to wait around for those things to change. They need to take action with the tools they already have within reach, starting with their own minds.
González knows from experience that even when you feel oppressed by the people and systems around you, there is a way to take joy in the act of teaching and do meaningful work, despite the obstacles. Burnout happens when you live in a constant state of stress and negative emotions, and there’s freedom in recognizing that all that stuff is happening in your own head. Even if there are legitimate external triggers for that negativity, you have power over your response to those situations. This book will teach you a mindset that can transform your teaching days from something to grind through into something to look forward to.

Author Bio:
Teaching is not just my profession — it’s my life. Ever since I began to teach English to myself and my friends as a kid, I’ve been incubating ideas about education. Classes full of joy, human connection, and genuine learning are my daily experience, and I love every moment of it.
I’m a native of Colombia now living in the US, and I’ve taught Spanish and English as foreign languages for nearly a decade. My students have included people of all ages and nationalities, everyone from kids with special needs to tourists to diplomats. I have a master’s degree in foreign language education, specializing in training teachers of the Spanish language.
Madison is the writer who captures my philosophy in the wild and wrestles it onto the page. We collaborate closely to make my ideas clear and digestible for you. She’s also my wife, and together we’re able to share with the world all the good stuff that was once trapped in my head.
She grew up in the US public school system, then went on to a private university for undergrad and graduate studies in engineering. During her doctorate, she taught science and engineering at the university and in local high schools. Her experience in academia and the American education system complement my perspective as an international teacher.

Author Bio:
A rolling stone gathers no moss. In 1979, at the age of six, Alberto Vezendi was uprooted from the Great Hungarian Plain and planted in Spain, amidst the wonderful beaches and sharp peaks of Asturias. However, instead of roots he grew wings, spread them wide and spent his summers travelling around Europe, mostly on his own, until he finally soared away from the nest. He left Spain in 1998 after graduating from university with a BA in English philology and a master’s degree in conference interpretation, and settled in Paris. There he started a career as a conference interpreter that would take him to more than thirty countries around the world. For the next fifteen years his life was divided between France, Belgium, Hungary and Spain, until in 2013 he landed on the serene shores of Lake Geneva, where he still lives today. In 2018, after twenty years of being somebody else’s voice, he decided to be his own and embarked on a new journey as a writer. This book is one step on that journey.
