Trying To Be Good

About Trying To Be Good

Every time I start to fall in love, my past gets in the way. But a new beauty in my life threatens to wake up a hot passion deep inside of me. One I’ve stifled for years. She needs my help, so things start as they always do – innocent and simple. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy. Love has a way of bringing out the best and worst in people. Good or bad, a casual fling will never do. She’d be the one that got away, and I can’t let that happen. It would haunt me forever. Being a bad boy is easy. This time I’m working hard on trying to be good.

Dark Communion

About Dark Communion

Ayla carries a death sentence in her womb.

Minotaurs have enslaved her people for generations, using women as breeding stock.

Ayla cries out to her long-dead mother to save her, but it is a dark Goddess who answers. Offered the power to free her people at the price of her soul, Ayla becomes the Goddess’ first chosen in a century — the Harbinger of the Dark Queen.

But when the slavers hear of her fomenting revolution, will her faith be enough? With only her Goddess and with the woman she loves by her side, she’ll raise an army…or die trying.

In a world where good and evil are in the eyes of the beholder, discover what happens when the heroes of Light reign supreme, and those left behind are forced to turn to the darkness for freedom.

If the Moon Had Willow Trees

About If the Moon Had Willow Trees

Free Book Giveaway | 50th Anniversary of the July 1969 Apollo 11 Moon Landing

Between JFK’s romantic Camelot entrance in 1960 and Neil Armstrong’s mind-blowing walk on the moon in 1969, the Sixties decade was a sociological nightmare. Somehow, the tsunami of conflict—assassinations, lynchings, bombings, race riots and white flight—convinced an entire generation they could change the world with sheer determination and pocket change.

If the Moon Had Willow Trees, begins two days after the Detroit cops raided a blind pig in July 1967 and incited the biggest race riot in American history. Told through the lives of eight activists—who experience the love, laughter, disappointment, mistrust and self-reflection of blacks and whites coming of age in a hostile world—the book ends after Armstrong’s moonwalk; after Walter Cronkite says, “Seems like a dream and it is a dream come true . . . and that’s the way it is.” Anything is possible.
