It Started With A Snub
HEATHER GREEN is a fun loving, happy go lucky, twenty-six year old who has remained upright and beaming despite a few wobbles in life. She wears her heart on her sleeve and pins on her thoughts for good measure.
We meet Heather as she moves out of her family home to share with four guys, much to the dismay of her long suffering (by his own admission!) boyfriend Graham. We follow her housemates and watch their sometimes funny, sometimes-fraught relationships as they go about their daily lives.
Join Heather as she navigates the simple things in life, her inability to remember the code for the house alarm, odd driving habits, general musings on chick flicks, casualties in cooking, as well as her attempts to talk down the “mad farmer with the gun.” Experience comedy and drama as we get to know her family and housemates, and, as an unexpected event finally takes her down, learn what happens when the last people you expected to turn to are actually the ones you need the most.

Wide as the Wind by Edward Stanton
About Wide as the Wind by Edward Stanton
Wide as the Wind is the first novel to deal with the stunning, tragic history of Easter Island (Vaitéa). It could be described as quest fiction for all ages in the line of Tolkien’s The Hobbit, but it is set in the real world, not Middle-earth. Wide as the Wind portrays Polynesian voyages across the Pacific Ocean in canoes with no metal parts or instruments: the greatest adventure in human prehistory, as bold as modern space voyages (National Geographic).
When Vaitéa is ravaged by war, hunger and destruction, it falls upon Miru, the fifteen-year-old son of a tribal warrior, to sail to a distant island to find the seeds and shoots of trees that could reforest their homeland. If he decides to undertake the voyage, he must leave behind Kenetéa, a young woman from an enemy tribe with whom he has fallen deeply in love. And if Miru and his crew survive the storms, sharks and marauding ships that await them on a journey over uncharted ocean, an even greater mission would lie ahead. They must show their people that devotion to the earth and sea can be as strong as war and hatred. Wide as the Wind is both a stirring novel of discovery and a prophetic tale for our times.

Getting Lucky
This guy could offer me the moon, and I’d hand it right back.
Never in a million years did I expect to run into the biggest crush of my childhood.
But, of course, I have.
And I’m reporting to him at the new company I landed a big-time job at.
Arrogant. Hot as hell. Total jackass.
Why he’s still single is no mystery to me. He’s not willing to settle down.
He’s always been that way, and as far as I’m concerned, he always will be.
But, boy, is he beautiful to look at. Every part of me screams “run” as my insides turn to mush.
No. Not me too…
Not again. I should be immune by now.
I know him far too well to fall into this hopeless pit of adoration again.
But maybe there’s a way around it. It’s his power that drives me over the edge of insanity.
If I were the boss instead of him, I’d hold all the cards.
Good thing I’m always up for a challenge.
Funnily enough, this guy thinks he’s going to score.
He might have to redefine what getting lucky looks like after me.
At least, that’s the plan.

The Biblical Clock: The Untold Secrets Linking the Universe and Humanity with God’s Plan
About The Biblical Clock: The Untold Secrets Linking the Universe and Humanity with God’s Plan
Science and religion have two seemingly opposing views of the universe’s biggest questions. But what if the real story told you they were both right?
Vancouver, 2009. Physics engineer and CEO Daniel Friedmann loves solving problems. When the avid scientist dives deep into scripture, he’s faced with questions he feels compelled to answer: Is it possible to harmonize the scientific timeline for the development of the universe with the biblical timeline described in Genesis 1? How do the evolution of human history and prophecies surrounding the End of Days fit in?
His quest for answers takes him and his nephew Seb on an incredible journey through the ages, discovering the lives and works of mystics, prophets, sages, philosophers, scientists and biblical commentators.
Follow Dan and Seb as they discover answers to some of the biggest questions in science and religion, including:
-Does the six-day creation account actually link with science’s 13.8 billion-year timeline?
– How do world history, Genesis, and the End of Days fit within the context of God’s Plan in heaven?
– How can the appearance of life on Earth, as depicted by the fossil record, match the sequence and timing of life on Earth described in Genesis 1?
– Do Genesis and the evolution of human history reveal the events and timing for the End of Days?
– Are there texts predating modern science that describe the Big Bang and contain the scientifically calculated age of the universe?
– And finally, is there a secret harmony resolving the creation-versus-evolution debate?
The Biblical Clock is a fascinating and entertaining read, digging deep into the universe and solving its well-kept mysteries.

Gabriela Fišerová was born in České Budějovice, Czech Republic. She has been trying to master English since she was eight, mostly via video games and reading Supernatural fanfiction of questionable quality. It was said fanfiction that inspired her to try her own hand at writing once she realized her English was good enough to attempt that. Because her native language sucks almost as much as she sucks at writing in it.
Her writing style primarily consists of her characters doing whatever they want and her writing it down while attempting to stumble her way through descriptions and plot holes to finally get to dialogue. She tends to combine genres in her books and doesn’t bother finding out their rules due to laziness. Her favorite point of view to write in is third person limited. Unless she’s writing about herself. Then it’s just weird.
When Gabriela isn’t writing, she’s drawing, designing and redesigning graphics, or messing around with the saturation slider in Photoshop.

Traverse Davies was raised by a pack of wild hippies, during the seventies and eighties when such creatures roamed the forests unfettered and free. He discovered a love of books at an early age, and that love has only grown over the years. After years of working in IT he decided to branch out in the activities he did while hunched in front of a glowing screen tapping at a keyboard and added writing to his task list.
His skills outside of programming and writing include Taekwondo, Wilderness Survival (sort of), Ninjutsu, Parkour, Drawing, Photography, and crappy Photoshop work. He has lived in various countries, although he currently resides on the east coast of Canada. He is obsessed with post-apocalyptic survival and subverting as many genres as possible.
