I live in a small village of 300 people in sun-drenched Queensland, Australia with my hubby of 44 years, an elderly Jack Russell Terrier, known as Princess Perfect (aka Kelly) and a 26-year-old opinionated cockatiel who likes to wolf whistle at both males and females as they pass by.
We love to travel and have a large caravan which we roam the country in when we are not doing renovations on our home. We have also traveled overseas quite a lot but have put that on hold as our dog is too old now to leave in a kennel. She loves the travel in the van as does our bird.

In a previous life I worked as an ER and Theater Nurse for 37 years, I even did a few years of teaching the newly blinded how to adjust to life without sight. Hubby was a senior officer in the Navy and this took us all over Australia and included 3 1/2 years in Papua New Guinea.
I write many different genres, but Western Historical Romance and Australian Romance have a special place in my heart. I incorporate many of my life experiences into my books and although fiction, I include many facts.
In 2019 I am part of an anthology coming out on Valentine’s Day. There are 12 of us who have ‘retold’ Princess fairy tales. My story is ‘loosely’ based on Pocahontas and her passion for women’s rights. In March, I am part of The Calendar Men series. One man for each month, 12 authors and 12 very different stories. My month is March. January will release on 8 March and then a book will be released every 2 days. In May, the same 12 authors will follow up with Calendar Gals.
Apart from that, I will have Book 2 in my Outback Australia Series which is Ruby. I am waiting to speak with Aboriginal elders to gain facts from the area before I write her so will probably be mid-year.
