Misty Proffitt-Thompson was born in Phoenix and most of her life has been spent in Arizona. She retired from the Bureau of Prisons in 2015 after 25 years of service and is now excited to follow her next role in life–helping others.

Waddy Thompson is the author of The Wise Guide series on grants and fundraising.
