Eleven Lifetimes an Astrologer: Secret Lessons You Will Never Learn from Astrology Books by Sonrisa East

About Eleven Lifetimes an Astrologer: Secret Lessons You Will Never Learn from Astrology Books by Sonrisa East

Not a cookbook. Not like any astrology book you have ever read.

Sonrisa East takes us through our deep history, past our galaxy, and into the future of human birth on other planets.

Eleven Lifetimes an Astrologer will make you think about astrology in ways you have never considered. It will test the boundaries of your knowledge—and belief—in an attempt to “stretch your eyes enough for them to grow.”

The book is designed as a practicum for a fledging seer. Filled with concrete exercises of “Backwards Gazing” to lay the groundwork for “Forwards Seeing,” it may well become the definitive guide to the Art and Duty of a Visionary.

If you take nothing away from reading it but the Seer’s Creed, it is well worth the read.

I predict Eleven Lifetimes an Astrologer will change your practice of astrology forever.

Author Bio:
Sonrisa East began the study of astrology at the age of 11 under the tutelage of her maternal grandmother. Her first book on astrology, Eleven Lifetimes an Astrologer: Secret Lessons You Will Never Learn in Astrology Books, was released on her 67th birthday as a birthday present to the future.

When Sonrisa East graduated from college in 1974, she moved to New York City to go to graduate school at Columbia University. But the first thing she did was set up a series of private astrology lessons with Greenwich Village astrologer Lenore Canter, who in addition to her astrology practice held a master’s degree in developmental psychology. Lenore Canter served as president of the New York chapter of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR) for seven years and was director of its Education Program for many years afterwards. Lenore Canter is the author of Psyche and Eros, the relationship analysis module for Kepler and Sirius astrology software and of Matrix’s Relating Potential report. She was a pioneer in the marriage of modern psychology and ancient astrology.

The two remained lifelong friends.

At the introduction of Lenore Canter, Sonrisa East also studied during those years with New York City astrologer Eleanor Bach, an early proponent of asteroid inclusion in astrology as the true ruler of Virgo. Eleanor Bach was the publisher-editor of “Planet Watch” and author of the “Asteroid Ephemeris,” published in 1973, which set the stage for extensive world-wide study of Ceres, Vesta, Juno, and Pallas. Eleanor Bach was considered the “mother of the asteroids” and received the 2nd Marc Edmund Jones Award for her pioneering astrological research on them.

After quietly practicing astrology for nearly 56 years, Sonrisa East lives a peaceful life near the sea—at least on the days she is not surrounded by her Gemini twin grandchildren and their menagerie.

About The Assassin’s Trail

Homicide Detective Ryan Clark has a problem. A prominent businessman has been assassinated by a drive-by shooting. Two weeks earlier another man, in the same industry, was shot and killed. He suspects the assassinations are related and calls an old friend with the FBI. When FBI profiler Special Agent Sean Kruger arrives at the scene of the second murder, he agrees with Clark but is hesitant to get involved. After twenty-five years with the FBI, he is tired of the bureaucracy and politics of the job. His constant traveling has kept him away from the woman he loves and he is contemplating retiring to start a new life with her.

A week later, while home in Kansas City, the assassin strikes again, this time close to where he lives, making things personal. With the help of JR Diminski, the computer genius from The Fugitive’s Trail, Kruger identifies a suspect and travels to Alabama for the arrest.

Politics and micromanaging complicate the situation. Kruger is ordered to wait but disobeys and proceeds with the arrest. When everything goes horribly wrong, he is suspended by the Director of the FBI. Now outside the protection of the agency, he must decide whether to walk away from his career or put his new marriage and life in danger by pursuing the assassin. An assassin whose ultimate goal is an attack in the center of the United States, an attack that will result in more innocent casualties than 9/11.

The first romance novel I ever read was Cinderella! I devoured Disney’s version of romance until I was eleven, and then I discovered Mills & Boons. In those days kissing was the most explicit intimacy disclosed: the hero and heroine went to bed and came out the next day with smiles! I had no idea what happened, but I was intrigued. My mom had shelves and shelves of them. Over the long summer breaks, I barely left my bedroom! My busy parent had no idea what I was up to. I’ve always been fascinated with love stories. I started writing in college, but I never expected anyone would ever read my whimsical musings. LOL! Now years later, after husband and kids, and a solid career in finance I’ve started publishing those early ideas.

The Rejected Writers’ Book Club

About The Rejected Writers’ Book Club

Librarian Janet Johnson is puzzled when she is invited—and practically dragged—to her first meeting of the Rejected Writers’ Book Club. This quirky group of women would much rather celebrate one another’s rejected manuscripts over cups of tea and slices of lemon cake than actually publish a book. But good friends are exactly what Janet needs after moving to the small town of Southlea Bay, Washington. Just as the ladies are about to raise a teacup to their five hundredth rejection letter, they receive bad news that could destroy one member’s reputation—and disband the group forever. To save the club, Janet joins her fellow writers on a wild road trip to San Francisco in search of the local publisher who holds the key to a long-buried secret. As they race to the finish line, they’ll face their fears—landslides, haunted houses, handsome strangers, ungrateful children—and have the time of their lives.
