How many columns you need to build your temple of fulfillment is up to you, but here is my first piece of advice. Build multiple columns and build them strong. Life tends to push you around. Sometimes the “push” becomes too strong and a few of your columns may collapse. Having the support of the remaining columns will help you in those rough times. Having just a few “flashy” columns, like money and fame, are not enough for you to stand strong when the going gets tough (and the they tend to be rather fragile too).

So, let’s start by building ten. This book will focus on 10 simple habits that will help you build your temple of fulfillment. By building the columns brick by brick through your daily activities, they will become sturdier and more reliable.
