Fireflies Glow Only in the Dark by Ruth Morse
About Fireflies Glow Only in the Dark by Ruth Morse
Even if I knew the deepest secrets of the world, I wouldn’t be any happier.
Growing up in a small town, Lana didn’t expect much from life. After the accident, everything changed. The world she once knew shattered into a thousand pieces. Maybe she was loved once, but now? She was completely lost. And the nightmares didn’t make things any easier.
Max came into her life one cheerless rainy morning. Indifferent and closed off, he was a mystery. One she needed to solve. What was hiding behind his sad smile and the wall of restraint he erected between them? The more she learned about him, the more she wanted to know all of his secrets. She never imagined that Max’s truth would start a new chapter in her life, a journey that would tear her away from her past and push her into a different future.
The fight between yourself and your darkest fears is difficult, but necessary to find your freedom. Lana had to decide if she was ready to be free.

Sweet Murder
**Free on 8/29!**
What’s a witch to do when the meanest man in the county drops dead in his coleslaw during her shift at the local barbecue joint? Noelle does what any good Southern girl would do: she flicks a wrist to clean up the mess, then thanks the stars for doing the world a favor. She should have known nothing’s that easy.
The Magical Oversight Committee is on her back because she can’t keep her unruly little sister in line and the hunky new city-slicker sheriff would like to take her to dinner, except he suspects her of murder. To top it off, her cursed miniature donkey is being particularly calamitous and the old hens at the local beauty parlor are laying bets on her love life.
A skydiving best friend and a bossy, living-impaired aunt become the least of her worries when the killer decides to bump up the plan by bumping her off. Can she figure it out in time to save all that she holds dear, or will Noelle be next on the list of folks who’ve turned up dead?
If you like laugh-out-loud southern wit, magic, and murder, you’ll fall in love with this witchy cozy mystery series!

I was born and raised in the South and even hung my motorcycle helmet in Colorado for a few months. I’ve always had a touch of wanderlust and have never feared just packing up and going on new adventures, whether in real life or via the pages of a great book.
I didn’t want to grow up to be a writer–I wanted to raise unicorns and be a superhero. When those gigs fell through, I chose the next best thing: creating my own magical lands filled with adventure, magic, and humor.
I live in Florida with my two dogs and when I’m not writing or reading, I’m racing motorcycles, hanging out at the beach, or binge-watching anything magical on Netflix.
