My name is Peter Flannery and I live in the UK with my wife and two sons. Even from an early age I wanted to be a writer although I never really believed it was possible. After high school I went to art college, although I was a very poor student and spent most of my time reading fantasy books or bunking off college to explore the local countryside with my friends.
I left college to work in forestry, broke my neck by falling out of a tree, then moved into the less hazardous world of horticulture. After a few years of working with plants I needed a change so I set myself up as a sculptor making models for wargames and role-playing games.
