About Slave

Each word that ever appeared has its own meaning, its own power, and its own purpose. But how many meanings can one word have?
Slave. The first thing that comes to mind is a life that does not belong to you. Not your thoughts, not your actions, not your soul. Everything is not yours. You have your master, your sovereign. He and only he can control what is called life. But is it really so? If you are used to serving and this is the only thing that makes sense to you, then is there any meaning in freedom?
We have the story “Slave” in front of us.
A story that began 8000 years ago and has not ended until now. Who I am? Warrior? Slave? Human? A treasure that is greater than the most precious jewels? Is there any point in freedom when you are already free? The author raises questions that you can ponder for a long time. Everyone will have their own answer. Concepts such as freedom and slavery are very close to each other, one develops into the other. There is no visible difference between them. For whom does slavery become freedom, and for whom is freedom is incompatible with life?

A slave named Rabbe is the embodiment of loyalty and strength for his king, Allagar. He is indomitable courage, reliable protection, and hope.
But this time, the execution of any order left a stamp in the heart of the slave.
He was being asked to leave the one who needed to be protected the most, during a battle from which he would not come out alive.
For what? In order to deliver a ring to the beloved king, the last gift, and the last farewell with it. Allagar’s order haunted Rabbe for a long time. Could it be that something was more important than his kind’s fight? How can it be so – his king, his patron, his master will perish, and he will leave and remain alive.
Why? The question is one of the major ones in this story. Why do we need freedom? Why do we need slavery? Why do we have to die? And why do we need to stay alive? Everything has its own story and its own meaning, hidden in the little things sometimes. Hope is not always in a raised sword that cuts everything in its path, or love in a destructive force that leaves nothing behind. Sometimes it is in a small green ring, that got dusty on the journey.
This story is structured in such a way that you become not just an eyewitness to the events that took place, but also something more. You become those who are able to see the most intimate, hidden secrets in the soul of the hero. Part of his thoughts and reflections, disguised even from himself.
So, who are you? Slave? Warrior? Human?

A deeper thread of my message is that dental care is a natural part of life and not something to be feared.
My goal (aside from opening children’s awareness about the animal world) is to help children gain an expanded view of teeth, understand the necessity of brushing their teeth, and lessen their fears of the dentist.

Born in Ukraine and raised in Kyrgyzstan, Mila has always had a passion for recreating fairy tales since she was 4 years old. One of her first stories was about the Three Little Piglets — only in her version, they grew apple and carrot trees for themselves, as well as kielbasa sausage trees to feed the hungry wolf when he would come over, so he wouldn’t destroy their houses.
Mila’s interest in various cultural traditions of other nations as well as math and science led her to read the entire 12-volume set of encyclopedias at her parents’ house at the age of twelve. This knowledge gave her some interesting (and sometimes random!) facts that she frequently liked to dump on the heads of her unsuspecting friends.
When she was young, Mila wanted to become an astronaut, but Instead, she became a mechanical engineer. After she moved to the United States, she obtained a large variety of licenses and certificates, including the most recent one of a medical coder.

It was her work as a dental coder that inspired her to write “Little Crocodile Finds A Dentist!”, as well as two upcoming books “Baby Shark Finds A Dentist!” and “Who Has the Strongest Teeth?” — because Mila felt the urge to write fun educational books for children.
Mila enjoys lots of hobbies, in no particular order: reading, improvising in cooking, writing, going to the live theater, especially musicals, traveling, learning new things, and discovering the amazing history and unexpected aspects of everyday objects, animals, and plants.
Sometimes she also paints landscapes and animals and gives Feng Shui advice to anyone who wants it.
Mila loves finding fun ways to motivate and educate children and increase their curiosity and interest in various aspects of life.
