L. Darnell Williams, President of LDarnells Insights LLC (LDI), is a totally blind entrepreneurial thought leader who has a burning desire to encourage, educate, motivate and elevate entrepreneurs, Small Business Owners and people in underserved communities to believe and know they’re just a mind shift away from living life’s winning moments.
Williams is on a journey to raise the AWARENESS level and create mind shifts that drive clients to desire goal accomplishment. His vision is to create one million “Life Winners.” Life Winners are people who think from the inside out, through a high AWARENESS level. In addition, life winners have achieved a significant personal or business goal through knowledge and empowerment gained from working with LDI. Knowing their Availability, Willingness, Acceptance, Responsibility, Emotion, Now, Energy, Source and Success will lead to a strong self-understanding.
In April 1970, Williams became completely blind. His availability level recognition raised his willingness level to attempt anything despite being blind. He became inspired to take ownership of his own life. This acceptance encouraged and pushed him to get educated, and he obtained a BS in Finance and a MBA in Management. By making responsibility his focus, Williams made strong decisions in his life journey. These decisions landed him in many different situations where understanding his emotions became the catalyst to continue his ascent through life.
Bakeries and Buffoonery: Magical Mystery Book Club Book 4 by Elizabeth Pantley
Bakeries and Buffoonery: Magical Mystery Book Club Book 4 by Elizabeth Pantley
Get this amazing new release for only 2.99 in this introductory offer. Ends March 4th!
It’s a magical book club! When this group chooses a book, magic happens. The mystery comes to life, and they find themselves part of the story. To exit the book and get back home, they need to solve the mystery and reach The End.
This time, the club chooses a book called The Great Cake Rivalry, because, well … cake! They read the back cover and it’s unanimous. So off they go into another grand adventure into a town aptly named Frosting.
Frosting is a rural town in an idyllic setting. The people live quiet lives most of the year. But in the spring, things change. The Annual Cake Competition becomes the focus of every man, woman, and child. They take this competition seriously. The cakes are spectacular. The festival is fabulous. For a week there are contests featuring all kinds of cakes. The people of the community become official tasters and vote for the winning cakes in each category.
The grand finale is a display of finely decorated cakes, made by the town’s bakeries. The winner of the best design receives a prize package that would make any baker dizzy.
Sadly, this event has been tainted. Once a year, each one different, but all somehow related to this event, a person is murdered. The main investigator is stumped, but that could be because he’s an inept buffoon.
Can the book club help the people of this community figure out who is causing this disturbing pattern of deaths, and stop another murder from happening? Can they figure out why some of the citizens dress so oddly, and why they always wear those unique backpacks? All while they fill themselves to the brim with cake, of course.

The Dying Party by Jeff R. Kelland
The Dying Party by Jeff R. Kelland
New Release launched on March 1st! “The Dying Party”, along with its prequel novella “Two of All People” (free and available everywhere), asks the question: ‘What happens when they tell us it’s too late to stop climate change; when we are forced to face a future that will be increasingly hellish, and an horrific end that will come within our lifetimes?’ The novel answers this question with two parallel story lines that alternate from chapter to chapter and eventually merge – one about how the poor will deal with the advancing crisis, and one about how the rich and powerful will fare.
The former story line, starting a few years earlier in the prequel, focuses on two main characters. It is late in the 2040s, and Lizzie and Donnie are two of only six people left alive in a residential complex that had been built into the side of Newfoundland’s Gros Morne mountain in the 2030s, now the only piece of habitable land left above water in all of what was once eastern Canada. In the second story line we follow a group of humanity’s richest and most powerful, the super-elite, as they try to establish an off-Earth colony for themselves.
“The Dying Party” explores in fascinating detail the complex brutality of what having to accept such a fate would mean for human civilization; what it would look like on a global scale, a local context, and from a variety of personal perspectives. The author’s extensive research shows that if we stay on our present course of inaction, confusion, and complacency, such a declaration will come sooner than we think. The thrust of the novel, however, is to illustrate the under-appreciated impact that passing the climate change tipping point will have on the human psyche; an impact that will further complicate and accelerate what is happening on a number of levels.
This is not fanciful speculation about the near and distant future, but rather the logical extension of the current course of humanity if we fail to up our game. The novel is a courageous, unflinchingly depiction of the worst-case scenario, with a measure of redemption, and is therefore a cautionary tale to end all cautionary tales.

But escaping town the way she does, forced by her boyfriend Roy to join him on a violent crime spree across middle America was not the travel of Patty’s dreams. Author Bio:
Paul has been writing poems and short stories for as long as he can remember. He adopted the name “Beth Andrews” in the early 1990s, when his first romance short stories were published in magazines like “Romantic Interludes.” Little did he know then how many other writers would publish under the same name!
After winning prizes in several contests sponsored by local chapters of Romance Writers of America, he decided to seriously pursue book-length fiction. His first Regency romance novel, “The Marplot Marriage,” appeared in print in 1999—and disappeared just as quickly, along with the publisher, Regency Press. In 2004, his second romance novel, “A Scandalous Secret,” was published by Robert Hale in London, England. Two more regency romances for Hale followed: “St. George and the Dragon” and “Stolen Waters.” After that came two light-hearted cozy mysteries (also with a regency setting): “Hidden in the Heart” and “The Unforgiving Eye,” now available from Joffe Books. After several locust-eaten years, the third book in this series, “The Whispering Tongues,” was recently released by Joffe and is a bona fide bestseller. Two short story collections, “Quadrille” and “Quintet”, have also been published by Regency Reads in Oregon, USA. The latter includes a long short story featuring Lydia and John Savidge, the husband-and-wife detective team from his Sussex Romance/Mystery series.
Having been a confirmed Janeite from his 20s, he wrote a number of articles for Jane Austen’s Regency World magazine, and finally decided to update Jane’s juvenile story, “Love and Freindship.” This version he called “Love and Freindship, and Other Delusions.” Doing a romantic flip-flop, this biting anti-romantic satire has proved indigestible to many readers, although critical reviews have been very positive.
A confirmed technophobe, Paul refuses to become involved in social media, and has neither a Facebook account nor a webpage. A few months ago, he bowed to the inevitable and purchased a cellphone, and is still trying to figure out what to do with it. He is unattached, as is to be expected from a man who writes romance and loves cats. As a Bahamian, of course he loves the beach, as well as light gardening. In addition to his other quirks, he is an avid singer/songwriter. Otherwise, he is rather elusive, and in danger of becoming reclusive. In any case, he prefers that readers consult his books and not his biography. He is a firm believer that it’s the work that really matters—not the author. This may explain why he is in no danger of becoming either rich or famous!

Pointed Love
About Pointed Love
Emma is a vampire. She didn’t start that way; she had been born human. Growing up in 1800’s England, she worked on her parent’s farm until she was attacked one day by a traveler. That day forever changed her family’s lives and sent her life on a completely new course. Left with an amazing son, but a healthy dose of anxiety, Emma learns to navigate her new life.
Many years later, her son is an adult and is returning home after being away for a couple of years. Finding her close to death, Rolf transforms Emma into a vampire to save her life. Although being a paranormal doesn’t cure her anxiety, it does gift her with visions of the future.
When her only child is put in danger from the very man who attacked her all those years ago, she travels across the ocean to help defeat the monster. Arriving in America, she moves into her son’s home. There is safety in numbers, making it smart for them to stay together. Rolf opens his house to his friends, as it is large enough that everyone has their own room. They all find something while living together…a family. A visitor to the house reveals that Fate has decided to gift her a mate of her own, but will her past allow her to claim him?
Doc has secrets that he has been keeping for hundreds of years. To embrace his new mate and form trust between them, he must find a way to share those secrets with her. After being alone for so long, Doc is ready to do anything to win his mate’s affection.

Suffering Redeemed
About Suffering Redeemed

In Suffering Redeemed, Karis addresses such questions. She shares parts of her journey with chronic illness while processing different aspects of suffering, such as: intimacy with God in affliction, living in the already, not yet of God’s kingdom, peaceful expectation of surrender and faith, purposes in suffering, unexpected gifts in our pain, learning to suffer well, and much more.
Our God is the God of miracles who can heal in a moment or deliver us from any situation, but sometimes the miracle is when God sustains us in weakness and impossible situations by his power and for his perfect plan. This book provides hope to keep going when life feels too hard by acknowledging the hardships we all encounter in this world and providing guidance on how to rise above them.

Why I Survived: How sharing my story helped me heal from dating abuse, armed robbery, abduction, and other forms of trauma by Jennifer Lee
About Why I Survived: How sharing my story helped me heal from dating abuse, armed robbery, abduction, and other forms of trauma by Jennifer Lee
This book recalls four personal experiences of suspense, suspicion, and survival that ultimately lead to my life purpose of helping other survivors.
The first story is of a 3-year long-distance relationship with a man who poisoned my self-worth and fabricated self-doubt on every level. He left me feeling like a torn, tattered ragdoll forgotten in the corner, longing for love and affection. Three years in, I received a startling message that shook my world and revealed a dark secret that I was unknowingly living with this monster.
Six years later, a thought entered my mind when walking down my driveway to my car. What if someone tried to rob your store? I quickly dismissed this thought as crazy and drove to work. That evening, with a store full of customers, I turned around to a masked man shouting, “Give me all your money!” as he pointed a gun at my face. This terrifying situation led to a series of life-altering events.
Ten years later, I met a creepy guy at a work conference who forced his way into my personal space. The triggers and trauma of my past quickly swept over me as I faced yet another scary situation.
The final story is different. It’s heart-touching and impactful. I’ll inspire you with the lessons I learned of intentions, faith, and fear that will reinforce your purpose on this Earth.
You’ll find words of support and pages of resources throughout the book, so you know that you are never alone.
“In Why I Survived, Jennifer pulls us into her hair-raising traumatic stories and helps us understand the physical, emotional, and mental toll trauma takes on us. Simultaneously, she reminds us we’re not alone and encourages us to listen to our intuition, which helps us avoid pain and stay on the right path. On the edge of our seats, we get to see how Jennifer triumphs over her adversities and finds the gift of helping empower others to begin their healing journey by speaking her stories. This book is unputdownable.”

A decade after surviving an armed robbery and abduction, Jennifer Lee created the I Need Blue podcast. She recognized a need for other survivors to share their stories in a space where they felt comfortable. I Need Blue became that space where survivors feel they belong, are loved, are understood, and feel empowered to share their truth.
In 2021, in an effort to educate and empower more people, Jennifer began speaking before local groups, non-profits, and national organizations. Through her podcast, speaking engagements, and this book, she has given other survivors a person to relate to, information to help them, and a space to share their stories.
In 2022, she was nominated for the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce Hero appreciation week for her efforts in helping other survivors heal.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and dog Joey. In her spare time, she loves to laugh, play dominos, and attend networking events. Besides raising her two sons, who both serve in the Marines, her greatest achievement is helping people everywhere know they are stronger than they think.
