About Endangered by Kian Sabik
THERE’S NOWHERE TO RUN…
Ürkesh has seen what no one can imagine. But he is more than just a witness…he is the prey.
Everyone he loves is now gone.
Everything he has ever known is lost.
And now, he has been left to suffer…alone.
Attempt after attempt after attempt, Ürkesh tries to break free and mend his broken world. But every time he runs, he is dragged back to the life he is desperately fleeing from. Soon, the haunting reality becomes clear to him:
The Chinese government never lets go of its prey.
AND NOWHERE TO HIDE.
Hala has seen what the Chinese government is capable of. As their grip grows stronger and stronger, she watches everyone around her fade away…until something begins to brew among the prisoners.
The scars and bruises of those around tell Hala to piece together this forbidden hope. Little by little, she works in silence. But the dark starts finding its way when the horrific reality becomes clear:
There is no hiding from the government.

Water Signs by Liz Kellebrew
About Water Signs by Liz Kellebrew
Written while riding the ferry across Puget Sound, Liz Kellebrew’s poems explore the liminal places between cities and forests, animals and people, the sky and the sea. This gorgeous and impactful debut gazes unflinchingly at the twin crises of climate change and human hubris, urging us to look closer at the creatures who co-exist with us in the space between wild and tame.
Whether it’s a salmon riding in the trough between waves, a cormorant flexing on a harbor buoy, a tourist on the ferry, or a toad on the ridge of a nebula somewhere in the Milky Way, we are prompted to ask, What is the wavelength of a soul? What new ways of being will emerge as our world changes? Will we embrace the bodies of the unknowable future?
With equal parts wonder and humor, Kellebrew calls our attention to the strangeness and beauty of nature and our place in it, inviting us to fall in love with this open book called living.

The Angel By The Tower by Marla A. White
About The Angel By The Tower by Marla A. White
Gabriel wakes up naked and alone in the desert with only one clear memory–he must find Abby Campbell before it’s too late.
Normally it wouldn’t be a challenge–he is her guardian angel after all. Unfortunately, a dispute with his heavenly Boss has left him busted down to a mere mortal with no wings, no powers, and no idea of exactly what he’s supposed to protect Abby from.
Once he convinces Abby he’s not completely bonkers, they work together to find the key to a mysterious tower and the ancient evil locked inside. But the answers force Gabriel to choose between saving Abby and being exiled from Heaven forever.
* * * * *
“The Angel by the Tower” takes the typical angel story and tips it on its ear. There’s the immediate mystery of how to save the world from destruction, but there’s also the bigger mystery of what did Gabriel do to get kicked out of Heaven and will he ever get to go home? And will he want to now that he’s been reunited with his demon ex-lover Evie? But theirs isn’t the only romance as life-long friends Abby and Ryan explore if there’s more to their relationship. And a dragon. Who doesn’t love a good dragon story?
“The humor, the character depth, the obstacles, and the creative way they are overcome (without TROPE) – I love it all! Easy/fast read leaves me wanting the next book RIGHT NOW! And as others have said, I need to go to the Mission Inn as soon as possible.” – 5 Star Amazon review

Olive is a middle-aged widow living in a small rural city of Canada, who is a lover of good books, cappuccinos and croissants. Olive knows what she is good at and stays in her box. That’s how she has lived her entire life, and after the death of her husband Robert… it’s enough to just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
A year since Robert’s death, Olive’s life looks, on the outside at least, absolutely fine. She lives in the same family house and works at the same local public library. But there is something she hasn’t shared with anyone – even with her good old friend Leila. Ever since her husband passed away, Olive has suffered a lack of self-trust and confidence. To make the matter worse, her step-daughter Lily stopped communicating with her over the past year.
Then quite unexpectedly, on the anniversary of Robert’s departure, something unexpected happens. She meets Maple, a young female mathematician at a local coffee shop – a stranger who helps her navigate one of the worst days of her life. What Olive does not realize is that she and her new friend are about to change her life forever…
